How it looked before. Im having some fab work done to my three piece spoiler before I dip it and install it.

Thanks it was actually pretty easy. I have no painting experience but I would you tube and watch different guys. It took me about 3 hours but I put about 7-8 coats of dip. Just make sure the car is clean degreesed then with the sprayer provided in the kit first two coats light 10 min between each coat also keep spray gun 10-12 inches away while spraying. I really enjoyed this process very simple and user friendly I was considering adding a little pearl to the camo green

Well I decided to play with plasti dip last night I think I came out pretty good even tho my car needs some body work

Well I finally decided on a color for my 280zx. It will be matte metallic gray or silver with a gnose and rotas 17x9 front 17x9.5 rear . Today I also de greased the engine bay and painted it with some rustolium enamel paint so I can drop the motor in and have a nice clean look. -

i was considering trying to use my 3 piece spoiler from my 260z on thee 280zx. After mocking it up with tape it looks like the part that sits on the hatch is half a inch short on both sides.Do you guys think a body shop could add to make it longer for me i really like the look of this spoiler, if not i will run a pantera hatch. -
Hello guys i havent been on in a while, but after the resent death of my 74 260z aka the rust monster i was forced to find another home for my sbc 421 stroker. After searching diligently for another body i came across an 1982 280zx slick top n/a five speed roller for 500$ wth jtr motor mounts already installed, drilled and slotted rotors all the way around, rear bumper delete needs a little finishing work, new shocks and struts with lowering springs, and some what descent interior needs new seats which will be replaced witth racing seats. Im hoping to have this build completed by the end of march so i will be posting my progress.

Ok , so i took thee time today to map out everything that i would be getting for my rear set up 1.Techo Toy Tuning Mustache bar -250.00 2.Whitehead performance 3.90 R200 LSD dif-1,100 3.Modern motorsports Z31 halfshafts-320.00 4.Modern motorsports 39 spline stub axels- 850.00 5.Modern motorsports 39 spline billit Z31 companion flange- 500.00 Is there anything else that i am forgetting for this swap to be complete?

I need on some advice on my 1974 260z. The motor and trans are built and ready to go but the car needs work as far as paint, floor pans and rails due to rust , interior is shot, also needs rear end set up to handle power. The primary use of the car is street strip. So if I could just get advise on where to start that would help a lot

I'm building a 421 stroker for my Z and would like a rear end set up that can handle the power. I've done some research on the forum and it seems that the long nose r200 is my best bet. Is there a company that offers everything as far as dif, axels , joints

Thanks Atozone Tonine i actually saw that color last night and was amazed but wasnt sure where to find to paint code info. I also like the blue tamo3 posted but the guy that i bought the car from actually has that color on his ls1 Z lol

Well im in need of some help you guys. Before i install my sbc 421 stroker in my z i would like to get the car painted, but i cant decide on which color. When I try to crank it , it makes the rrrrr-rr-rrrr sound but I hear nothing from pump when cranking

Well I was driving the car and it kept turning off on me in which I had to keep loping the clutch to keep car running .When I got it home it would crank but not fire up. I've replaced alternator battery distributor cap and rotor. Also I've pulled off coil wire and was getting spark. So I think it may be fuel pump it's been humming very loud since I've purchased car but I wanted to test fuel pump before I spend more money on parts that won't get the car back on the road

Hey guys is there anyway to test fuel pump to see if it works. I don't want to buy a new one if mine is still in good shape

Thanks guys. They are xxr 527 16x8.25 0 offset with 205 50 16 tires 2 coils cut all the way around

My z has stop on me on more than 2 occasions, in which both of them i had to jump start car. I have replaced battery, alternator, distributor cap, and rotor and car will crank but not fire up. Please help

thanks alot guys. The problem was the bad slave cylinder which was leaking i replace it and bleed the system car shifts great!!
