  1. Does anyone know if this would work or am i looking at the wrong t5s. Or how much modification it would take? Or am I better off just rebuilding?   2. I heard a rumer that the 5th gear in a 83+ zx is taller is that better for freeway speeds? Or would i be as well off just rebuilding mine?
  3. Ok an update... it seems to shift now...but it sounds and feels like there is a marble or something bouncing around in there but only every once and a wile very noticeably. The rest of the time its just a slightly noticeable sound in nuetral when idling.
  4. As it states im pretty sure my tranny is doing the death march.... it has slowly become harder to switch into third and fifth sometimes if I am lucky I can quickly shift in but that is rare. I replaced the slave and master clutch cylinders and that didnt help much.. I also got the transmission warmed up and changed out the fluid, I did notice some small bits of metal I the old oil. After the new oil was in it was easy to shift for about a week then it got hard again.... The question is. Is this a rebuildable situation or is there a 6 speed swap out there that is relatively cheap and easyish? What are my options?

  6. If you can I would still recomend getting a new one and just hold on to the old one if it works for a spare.... though it may not even happen for another 15years.... mine looked like the factory one so maybe less likely than so. But better to be prepared than let murphys law bite you.

I welded the hole shut and routed the crank hose and valve cover hose into a tee having the path of airflow cross the tee so most of whatever blow by may occur goes into the crank case and from the tee it flows into the air inlet before the afm I am not using a pcv in other words just venting hoses and so far no issues
  8. My t3t4 turbo doesn't make much noise at idle or even reving but once you put enought load on it you hear it......even with just the down pipe I couldnt really hear it spooling till I took it out and drove it.... also intake could be a factor on the noise levels too
  9. I just finished installing a turbo in my na motor. I used the turbo manifolds from I believe older year the intake did not have the egr port and was not webed and the turbo manifold fit in the t3t4 turbo im runnin, I am using turbo injectors and a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator with the stock afm and a locked out dizzy.. it is pushing about 5 psi boost with no problems I am also planning on putting a boost controller on and turning it up as soon as I get my intercooler installed. As far as the supra injectors and 240 tb I am not sure. veryinterested to see your build up:)
  10. Fyi its the black square thingy on the front of the dizzy connect the red and green wirea in the right spots;-)
  11. Does this just happen to be as it gets warmed up? Id say pick up a ignition control module for 40$ off ebay and give it a go. That same thing happend to me. Also check and clean your grounds on the manifold as the efi harness is grounded there.
