  1. I checked if that was the case but the actual plastic housing in the front cracked and broke its the part that holds in that c clip. So I got another slave for about $60 and it comes with the lifetime warranty so I kinda don't want to drill and tap this one. I'm still trying figure out how to convert that roll pin to accept a 1/8 pipe thread. I might just give up and email Ron or perry for an adapter. Jason
  2. Hey guys, yup my slave broke. While i was bleeding it I heard a crack, then the boot filled up with fluid. So I need another slave cylinder. The good side was the thread that I tapped was good and did not leak, but I'm not willing to risk another slave for it. So I want to make an alternative adapter. Dan Juday recomended having Ron make an adapter but the $30 is kinda pricey especially since I have to buy another $60 slave. I was thinking of threading the roll pin type fitting to accept -3 line. Well any suggestions would be great. Thanks! Jason
  3. haha no i got the same flywheel a while back for 60$. I don't have the car running yet but I did run in to one problem. The recess for the flywheel bolts was too high and the stock clutch springs hit the flywheel bolts. So, I had to sand down the recess a bit and also grinded my arp flywheel bolts down a bit. This was with a stock clutch though, I believe performance clutches have a smaller diamater spring. The flywheel other than that looked great, but I have yet to run the car. I'll let you know how it is, cuz hopefully it'll be up and running soon. Jason
  4. Just curious is this flywheel off of ebay from amsracing? Jason
  5. I would be really interested perry, but I already drilled and tapped mine. If it doesn't hold up I'll be sure to email you about it. Jason
  6. Hi guys, I was wondering, for you guys that have a t5 slave thats drilled and tapped for a -3 line, how long have they lasted for you? I ask because I just did mine but I'm not sure if it'll hold all that pressure. Have some of you tried an alternative to drilling it? Thanks for the help Jason
  7. I have a similar muffler. I have the borla pro xs wit center/offset and 3". The length of my muffler is 14" but 19" total. It looks like it would fit. All it would need is 2 good 90 degree bends.
  8. yeh i checked it's not backwards. Thanks though
  9. Hi guys, I need help guys, well I'm trying to install my clutch but the springs on the disc are hitting the flywheel bolts. Has this happened to anyone else? Well my flywheel is a 18 lb 153 tooth made by AMSracing and I'm using the correct flywheel bolts I bought from kragen and I know my stock clutch disc is still good. I'm hoping it's not the flywheel cuz I don't want to go through the hassle of selling it and buying another. Any Ideas? Thanks! Jason
  10. wow...just what I needed thanks! Jason
  11. Hi guys, I ask cuz mine are leaking and saw this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2423413869 Would these fit?
  12. Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how to identify a wc t5 from a nwc t5. I'm wondering cuz I found this guy on ebay selling a wc t5 but the actual tranny came from a 83' and he said it was rebuilt as a wc t5 and it has only 2000 miles on it. Also the guy lives in Temecula which is pretty close to me and it includes the bellhousing, driveshaft, and clutch assembly. Thanks! Jason
  13. That was posted by juju, I think these are the partnumbers he gave: BrakeWare- 12117 Bendix- 12117 wagner- f110710 Raybestos- cma39580 Hydralic Hose from Ford -p/n E3TZ7A512A I remember reading that post and I wrote the numbers down. I'm not at the stage of installing the transmission yet and I wanted to do this set up too. Let me know how it goes. My email is jcpayabyab@csupomona.edu.
  14. I second the Oven cleaner idea. The brand to use is Mr. Muscle don't buy any generic ones. Don't get this stuff on your skin! Let it sit for about 10 minutes and what I did was use a pressure washer to spray it off. My pressure washer is only 1300psi so there were some left overs and I just used a handy chisel. Also you can plug your pressure washer to your water heater, it helps. This process will take it down to the primer. What I did to take off the primer was use those circular 3m paint strippers. Or you can use those chemical strippers. Hope this helps Jason
