I'm assuming you found the 1.0 mm piston seeing that you posted two months ago. If you're still looking let me know I know a dude who's got a bunch of old suzuki's. I dunno if you'd call him a guru, but he knows his stuff.

agreed the BJT route is more than inefficient. MOSFETs is the way to go and worth the extra trouble.
