I am looking for a wiring diagram to install MS on a 280zx turbo. I get an error code when I look for mobythevan's thread on the subject. seem to be the go to thread but I can't find it.

I am converting my car to manual steering. so I need the shaft that goes from the steering wheel shaft to the steering rack.

my car runs better without oxygen sensor plugged in. try that. my problem sounds similar.

I have a 1981 turbo. It runs better without the oxygen sensor plugged it. If I plug it in it runs super rich.

Ebay. Should be a 4 bolt T3 flange with 2.5" ID.
That was my first thought. The bolts are off set. A universal 4 bolt flange will not work.

I want to build a custom down pipe for my 1981 280zx. I need a flange that will fit the stock turbo. Does anyone have a flange for sale? Or know where to get one?

I hope someone answers soon. I have the same problem. My hose has a nasty hole. I was thinking that all one would need was a threaded spline to stick in there. I don't know where to buy them or how to make one. you should also try the l6 forum.

Tank is full thats wat i thought at first gonna jack the car up n take a look tomorrow try n figure this out cuz im confused haha.
I would check the injectors. that's what my car was doing. the wiring harness on injector 3 and 5 was faulty.

so for the catch oil can, i just run that between the pcv crankcase hole and the pcv valve? it doesnt recirc the oil back to the oil line right. also will the electrical tape withstand the heat of the crankcase?
Think of the tape as like a gasket. It can handle the heat. It is the easiest and cheapest fix to get you down the road.
if you want to use the oil catch can, it goes from your valve cover to PVC hole on the block. Take your PVC valve to Ace and get a bolt with the same thread size to plug the hole. You will also have to plug the hole on your intake from the hose that goes to your valve cover.
It is a can that catches oil. You have to empty it.

I would get a new timming kit from autozone. It comes with everything to fix your problem.

I would put electrical tape so it would sill. It's not going anywhere. there is a baffle plate inside the block so oil will not spray out. If it sprayed out it would go into the intake manifold. a little comes out, but not that much. the PVC is for emissions. if emissions are not important where you are get rid of it. put a bolt where the PVC was and put filters on the valve cover and that hole you found.

Never had a problem either, just piece of mind, knowing it's not going to come apart at 8000RPM (again)
I don't rev it passed 4,000. I think if i rev it to 8 it will blow up.lol I want to rev it to 8. Do you do with a turbo? I've givin up on trying to get my turbo engines to work at 8,000.

I figured it out. the wiring harness to injectors 3 and 5 were found to be faulty.

How do you know it is running lean? Can you give us some specs of your setup? I would start by replacing you fuel filters and checking your fuel pressure at the rail.
I work over nights just woke up. It has just been rebuilt.
100 miles on it.
timing is at 23 btdc.
82 distributor.
new cap and rotor. no change.
plugs, wires, and injectors on the way.
n42 intake. no egr.
mannual boost controller is at its lowest setting. 6.5 psi.
walbro fuel pump.
new filter
adjustable fpr started 30 psi. turned it up to 40 then 50 psi. no change in the way the car drove.
idles perfectly
narrow band o2. when the car was working it ran closer to rich. now at higher rpm ( above 2800or so), anything over 50% throttle it go straight in to the lean and sputters.
