wow what a topic of discusion how bout a fairly rare tamiya model of the old 240zg

hey man i got an 83 280zxt i think i have the r200 dif not shure though didnt acualy see what else acualy fits in place if what i got breaks i have heard roumors that pretty much anything nissan will fit could i be wrong

do you know if the floor pans and frame rails will fit an 83 zxt coupe if so i am verry interested as long as the price is what i can afford

damn man nice work could i ask you a few questions i dint exactly see what thicknes of steel you ued for the floors i have an 83 280zx turbo im restoring if you could pm me with any of the specs that would be great

hello as you guys have noticed i have a few post's this is sorta kinda like the one ive posted before my 83 zx need floor pans and suport rails has anyone done this before i am asking due to the dificulty i am doing this my self and am inquireing as to how much of a pain this will be as to hints and sugestions on how to aproch the disasembaly and reasembaly of the underside of the car how to keep the car from twisting and or saging i have acess to all the tools i will need to do the job any info will be greatly apriciated

well u could always remove the lock cylinder to the door verry eay job and you probly wont destroy anything and if all else fails use a hamer kidding

hmm was wondering what that part was i think it works cause i thoiugt i heard it kick on th 1st time i tried starting my car

compresion is good on all cylinders and the rebuild kit is 81$

i would say the turbo is toasted the ruber tube that joins the metal tube for the intake was cracked and water had goten into it so im not salvaging it and jeffer how much do you want for the turbo and where might you be located

well i know nothing about the L28t engines i am more familiar with toyota 22re engins for the imports cars well anyone know what type of turbo is in my car i found a site for rebuilds but cant figurte out what i have its the factory turbo

ok new prob turbo is locked up tight anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit or a good used one that works well i plan to fix this body cause i cant find a good one out here in va

83 zxt not on the road yet just got it running any ideas as to what to do with once fixed upgrades that is

ok i just purchaced a 1983 280zx turbo it has 179k on the motor it had a new clutch put in the car 12 yrs ago and hasnt been run since infact it hasnt been started in 12 yrs i finaly got it running this afternoon it runs ok already changed some of the fuel system sending unit(from 81 280zxt),fuelpump (from a 78 280z) next is the tank ok now on the body the floors and subframe are almost gone the fenders are rotted pretty bad the hood is rusted so bad the pinch weld is seperating
