  1. No worries abour the air horns... I cut the ones off the stock filter assembly, cleaned em up, painted, and mounted them inside the K&Ns. Works like a charm. My only thing left to do is reroute the carb hoses. That was my main concern, as I wasnt sure what they were for. My SUs have been rebuild in the last 5 years, so Im not OVERLY concerned about a needle sticking, but better safe than sorry AMIRITE?
  2. Those flares are custom. I believe molds are in TX. You can find out every thing your heart desires on that car here: http://web.mac.com/markrolston/NewSite/Z-Blog/Archive.html EDIT: Never mind, different car. Nevertheless, very similar flares.
  3. Bare with me, Im at work and dont have pics of my car so im using pics off hybridZ OK, So I recently took my my giant orange boat of an air filter ass seen here: And replaced it with some pretty K&N ones My question is what do I need to do with these hoses comming off the Carbs? Theres no where for them to go now...
  4. Anyone seen the 2010 Pearl White? I stopped by the local Nissan Dealer (theres only 1 down here HARHAR). Its perfect. A bright white with a nice shimmer. Not creamy looking like alot of "pearl whites" are. I need the paint code ASAP. Been looking EVERYWHERE for it.
  5. Title says it all. Looking for a 240 front air dam. Show me what you have
  6. I may have a console for you. My parts car is parked atthe old mans house. Ill have him take a pic.
  7. Watching that video makes me giddy. That white really pops out at you! Thats what Im looking for for my Z. Im rocking the original 904 white. Great color. Very classy looking, but it just doesnt jump out at you like I want. That color whit is EXAXTLY what Im looking for. Not to creamy looking. Holds that bright white look but haz that pizzaz of a pearl/metallic tone. I gotta know what that paint is.
  8. Doesnt look like it http://semproducts.com/Catalog.asp?cat=57
  9. It is indeed right off sunset lounge. I live over on Dewey right now.

Rust is what is is. I try very, very hard to keep her clean and dry. Water tends to puddle here for days so I wont drive it when its rained. I also coat the undercarriage every few months with WD-40. Helps repell moisture. Every little bit helps :)

  10. Did you buy it withthe fares already on? Im diggin it. I want to flare out mine eventually. Shhh, dont tell Aziza.... White > Red
  11. I imagine it wouldnt be a bad choice... Its just that the Y and F are alum heads and the others are iron. You see alot of iron LT1s in Zs so it cant be too bad I spose.
  12. Ya, been doing some digging. The B and D body LT1s were rated 260hp while the Y and F range from 300-335. Trying to dig a bit more and find out the details. Would hate to end up with a motor I regret. Y-body: 1992-1996 Chevrolet Corvette C4 [*]F-body: 1993-1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and SS 1993-1997 Pontiac Firebird Formula and Trans Am [*]B-body: 1994-1996 Buick Roadmaster 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice Police Package 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS 1994-1996 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon 1994-1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon [*]D-body: 1994-1996 Cadillac Fleetwood
  13. Thanks for the info. Exactly what I was looking for. I figured they truck motors were build a little differently and may need to be moded to bring them up to par. Im looking through some different rigs right now trying to find what works for me on my budget. LT1s out of a granny Caddy (fleetwood). Are they any decent?
  14. Does it make a difference? I know alot of the V8 ford trucks and cars had a "different" version of their 5.0 as opposed to the Mustang/MarkVIII 5.0 HO. Was it something similar for Chevy or all of their 350 SBC the same? Ive got a LT1 for sale near my folks house that Im considering picking up but was concerned if it being a truck motor would effect bolt on performance.
  15. Just being nosy...noticed that your pic from the "white Z thread" was taken right by the Sunset Lounge. I grew up on Sigsbee, and my parents still live on Gilmore Drive. I moved away back in '99 and haven't been able to afford to make the move back.

BTW, How's rust control down there? Especially with the salty air and dried salt all over the roads.

  16. Im generally not a fan of the ZX, but I got to admit, thats beastly!
  17. Great base to start with though! Looks pretty clean. Thats rare in my neck of the woods
