  1. If a mustang dyno showed that i'd say your sitting around 270hp 300ft/lb tq.

  3. I might know where there is a couple 260z's and a few turbo motors.
  4. 5 bolts, the js turbo cars had a 3 bolt down pipe adapter with 2 different length bolts. I'm just going to pull mine off so i can use the stock downpipe elbow and use a screamer pipe.
  5. Since these are the highest injectors i can use with the stock ecu, does that mean that the fuel curve will compensate and use the extra fuel? or do i need an safc?
  6. so i just learned my 280zxt has the janspeed turbo. i was wondering why i had a three bolt downpipe flange on the stock turbo.
  7. Can i use SVO injectors on my 280zxt with my stock injector connectors?
  8. only thing i see wrong with the car is that he used regular old pink bondo. that stuff soaks up water and can rust the metal behind it.
  9. currently 1 my 82zxt coupe. with 76,000 miles on the odometer.
  10. Always make sure your oil seals are good before doing this,Because it will clean the crud from the seals and cause a leak in some cases.
  11. how many liters per hour or gallons per hour does the stock 280zxt fuel pump put out?
  12. i was just wondering because the guy i bought the car off of put a 2 1/2 inch down pipe on it and he didn't weld in a bung for the 02. so I'm running without one.
  13. What kind of problems will ocur if disconnected,and is it possible to eliminate it? oh yeah and I'm talking about a 280zxt.

  16. how do i tell a turbo afm from a non turbo afm?im asking because a shop around here has one laying around and idk if it's na or turbo.
  17. yeah i'll have to try the ignition module because i pulled the spark plugs and they don't look like there all firing,some are soaked in fuel.

Ok i have an 82 280zxt,i have to prime it like 3 times to start it,when it starts it does nothing but sputter and backfires from the exhaust and intake,and if i hold the gas to the floor it won't go above 1k rpm and if i back off to about 1/4 throttle it will sometimes rev to 4k rpm and will sound like it is running normal,also after awhile the exhaust will glow red hot. i replaced the fuel filter and cleaned the fuel injectors and fuel rail.
  19. There are Sunoco stations here in Florida that sell 100 octane at the pump. and where i live in inverness,fl there are a few stations that sell 110oct.
  20. just signed up and saw this so... Just bought an 82 280zx turbo with 74,731 miles on it! it has the normal amount of rust for a z. the guy sold it to me because it had starting problems,but turns out it sat for 2 years and the gas was bad lol.
