  1. Okay thanks! Yeah that's what he was going to use it for, a boat
  2. There's a guy on craigslist selling a 14 inch steering wheel. It's white, but I can easily change it to black. He wants $50. Right now, I have the stock huge steering wheel. Is this worth it? I'm aware that I need a new hub to fit this wheel.
  3. Lt1. They may have optispark problem, but everybody I've known that has done the coil pack conversion for it hasn't had the optispark issue. The 350 tpi's had decent torque, but was an absolute turd in the upper rpm's.
  4. If they can't be bought, then they shall be made eventually!
  5. So I found this picture on Instagram and noticed they had a panel to fill in the indention where the front bumper would be right above the turn signals. Does anybody know where i can find these at.
  6. Put the windage tray and pickup tube on. I also have the oil pan bolted on snugly with two bolts temporarily because it needs to come off for oil feed and return line in the future.
  7. I like irs, but if you're not auto-crossing your vehicle, just 9" swap it. Even then, you can make a live axle hand well.
  8. Are the front and rear struts the same part number on these cars?
  9. So I have many questions with these struts. I know 8611 series are double adjustable and 8610's are single. Some of you guys are running 8610-1149 while some of you are running 8610-1437. I also noticed some are running 8611-1157 and some others are running 8611-1159. Are the only differences the dimensions of the strut? Could I run any of these on my car? What exactly needs to be modified to get these to fit in a 1977 280z? I haven't found much information on them except that people claim that they're running koni yellows. Which model number from each series (8610 or 8611) should I be running in the front and rear of the car?
  10. I'm sure if you order a custom set of CCW wheels, you could fit wider
  11. Man, I'm sorry to hear that. It kind of sucks that you widened your car just to find out your setup won't allow more than 8" wide wheels still.

    Dash options

So I have yet to find any form of replacement dashes for a 1977 280z. Mine has a half cap on it and looks like nasty, flabby, booty. I'm sure my dan is cracked. I'm willing to repair it but would really just like to get a new dash. I saw that there are carbon fiber dashes for the 240z, but haven't seen one for a 280z.
  13. Can't wait to see! I'm curious what my 76mm turbo lq4 will put out with a custom grind turbo cam on 8# of boost will do. Looking forward to seeing your numbers with the 5.3!
  14. I'd like to see what power you're making on 8# of boost! And looks like your 8.8 is holding up well.
  15. Oh and to answer you guy's question. The ls3 oil pan from the camaro is over 6.5" deep while the corvette ls3 pan is just under 5" deep. So be careful on which ls3 pan you get.
  16. I was looking at those, an pretty much any other oil pan for the LS engine and the fbody seemed to be one of the more shallow ones coming in at only 5-1/2" deep. I plan on lowering it, but not very much.
  17. Car parts Santa delivered my fbody oil pan, oil pick up, and windage tray today! Small update, I know.
  18. I agree, get rid of the indents! I love this look and might do it also!
  19. I'm just curious if there are any other members here from Las Vegas? It'd be nice to see some locals!
  20. I love the molded in flares! Where'd you find them?
  21. Do you plan to do any mods to the engine? If so, I'd suggest not using the 4l60e. As an fbody guy, the 4l60e's are weaker than an anorexic crack whore.
