I say pitch that 307 in the long grass i don't know about the sixties but in the eighties they were terds. would be alot better off with that 350 will find part choices more wide spread and cheaper than that 307

Don't forsake sbc just yet my friend try changeing your heads and intake to something with a little bit more room in the intake runners. Your running a big cam with small heads try getting some brodix heads with like some 200 cc intake runners. just match that cam the best you can i bet you'll have better results.

you're crazy man! be happy that is what you have at the rear wheels. With an automatic trans. you can have up to a 40% hp loss through the drive train. you could be running 375+ at the flywheel! And those e.t.s are great wish i had an 11. second ride.

Has anyone here ever used side pipes on there car if so how does it look could you email me so pics? I have been thinking about using some side pipes like some of the late 60's corvettes used to have. Any opinions?

personally I think the ferrari gto kit is cool and think you stick with that car and have some finish it I have a 1974.5 260 that i am having to do alot of rust repair on and so far is been tedious cuting out all the rust holes,cutting out new steel, and welding it in. It will be alot cheaper to have body kit installed the rust reair depending on how severe the damage. I finding all sorts of holes some just bondo over. I would sell the rest, keep the gto. -
:twisted:Personally I like the 377 because of its all around horsepower and best to start with an aftermarket block because of the better cooling passages also make sure you have your engine balanced and blueprinted if you want it to last you awhile. most people try to goto a junk yard and throw an engine together and then wonder why it breaks. please if you going to spend money on a engine make it last!
