  5. Yeah being home from school is nice. And I've heard that from a few people which is why I'm doing it, I want a stiffer rife, and I've been told it might cause some flexing, but I will find out, it's all about the set up, and I'm trying to do it right
  6. So i need to locate the metal piece of brake line that leads into the wheel well, for driver and passenger in the front. Other than that I made great progress, have it all apart and grinder down just waiting on my guy so he can weld it. So here are some update pics! Thats a clean cut! And all 4 struts decided to be blown and throw oil everywhere :/ Oh my! Got both of my rear spindles out quickly and easily, I'm so lucky!

  9. got a lot done today spent a total of 15 at SOS! yeah i got lucky getting my title finally! next i worked on the z all day. got some fuel lines situated and got it started! something was causing this float to be really slow. turns out the extra line i had was blocked and caused a vacuum gas isnt supposed to be yellow right? then i got my coilovers too!! also got my turn signals on... kinda...
  10. Thanks! I'll really need it.If you don't wanna weld, I've heard of people using the circular clamp things where they have 2 screws and you tighten them and set the sleeve on that, I guess it holds up perfectly fine and you don't have to cut or weld
  11. I got ground controlCustom made 350 front 250 rear And 8" springs. Should be here today!!! But my z is back at my house. I'm on break so gtta do as much as I can!
  12. im getting a family friend to weld it for me, i have no suplies to weld, and no experience haha. maybe come spring time we can meet up. you part of Great Lakes Z Club?
  13. thanks, but i do want stiffer, since i will be lowering as much as possible. so gathering info from the one thread, i can order 10" springs from GC? and get regular sleeves. so then i might do 275-250? i feel 250 is good for the rear, and 275 for front
  14. Where are you located? Yes I'm going to section it
  15. Ive driven in a 400-275 miata and loved it, I've also driven my brothers dime that was 250-200 and its too soft for me.
  16. I do like that one, isn't that the z from the petrolicious vid?
  17. i am getting GC coilovers and want to know a good setup around 400ish for my 280z. so any imput of front ad rear rates that will work well. thanks!

  19. no markings at all, but they come with everthing and i got them. so im going to see how they turn out!
  20. Anyone know what kind of these coilovers are? Double locking Any help would be great
  21. Yeah that's pretty close, but I know leather isn't an option(just not possible) so I'm looking onto the material you see on sweaters, kinda like a rough velvet, I don't know what its called. And most people ask me what color its going to be, the more I hear that, the less I want to paint it and let it surface rust more then clear coat it, "one of a kind" right? Haha XD
  22. I'm building this z for me, not for others, I got those seats because I liked them, and want to keep them that way, I'd definitely clean them a ton, then I'd put the patches on a couple spots and where you sit.As for the snow, I live in MI, so lots of snow and salt, but it doesn't run and I wouldn't take it out in the snow anyways
