  1. Scobuggy's engine numbers are well within reach. I was the team cyl.hd developer for an IMSA 280ZX GTU team during the 80s and we saw 330BHP @ 9200 RPM on the team's GO-POWER dyno. IMSA changed the 2.5 liter limit to 3.0 ( 2 1900 lbs). So our prepped L28 blocks were just at 3.0 liters running a Duke Schneider cam of our own grind. Induction was via FI using Weber 50mm bodies as 'throttle bodies'. Ferrea titanium valves opened the entrance and exit doors to the combustion chamber. John Caldwell did the builds and refreshes for us prior to his moving to Dan Gurney's Eagle operation. But with a Rebello 3.2, ITBs on good gas....I'd say Scobuggy is right on the mark. That has to be a nice piece of machinery.
