  1. wishing I still had my Z

  2. If you are still looking check out mine for sale in the parts forum. It is a JSK and it is brand new. Thanks, Kyle
  3. I have a JSK fuel rail for sale on this forum. Check it out in parts. Thanks,
  4. money is tight. My car is 3500 miles away, but this is damn important. Can't wait to hear the results. Small but important donation sent!! Good luck all!
  5. I love the wrap around with all the lights and screens. You could have a playstation and a dvd running at the same time. Not that you would want it. Funny stuff.
  6. that is just crazy insane. it would be such a bad thing if that got into the wrong hands. I'd love to see a video of it.
  7. Awesome news Dave. My subscription had expired for sport Z so I now just subscibed to your new mag. Looking forward to getting it in the near future.
  8. That is too bad. It was an ok mag. I like Grassroots Motorsport as a magazine though. Non Z related but you see your occasional Z in a picture at a race. They are at least dedicated to the budget minded.
  9. Water + Electric tool = mistake Unless it is designed to get wet.
  10. Swap is done. Not that it was brain surgery or anything. Took me forever to get the engine out of the 78 with the tranny and to pull the whole front end. Took me another day just about to get it up into the 77 and all secured. While I was at it I changed the motor mounts and steering rack bushings. Man oh man the mounts are a pain in the arse. Doing all this by myself is taking alot out of me. I am so a newbe at this sort of stuff. My arms are all black and blue and I look so haggerd. But it is coming along. I have the radiator, altinator, and starter to swap next along with the master and slave clutch cylinder. I'm going to swap rear ends the same way too. A arms with diff, half shafts and suspension all in one go. I'll keep you all posted to see if it is all possible to finish before next Wed. morning.
  11. Such a simple solution. Thanks. I have such a wrench too that will do the job nicely. I have been so mentaly foggy lately. You are all my crutch.
  12. this is the sort of crap that goes on here that makes me keep coming back. I love the progress you are having and it really makes me wonder why the factory always has such a hard time doing anything as clean.
  13. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=7996&cat=500 Here is the pic of the part that I am talking about. It is supposed to have a "D" shaped hole where the shocks threaded part goes. Well, as I was replacing the suspension and tighting down the gland nut (I think that is what it is called) that attaches to the shock threaded part it all of a sudden spun around and the d shaped hole turned into a "O" shaped hole. I hadn't gotten the nut all the way on either and know I wasn't over torqueing. This of course happened to both sides. I have two spare perches but they are a bit loose and I am afraid the same thing will happen. What is my solution. Sorry if this has been covered as I have been working on the car for 15 hours straight today and have to have it done by next Tuesday and have no time. Thank you very very much.
  14. sweet!!! now hopefully it will be as fast.
