  1. You maybe able to get them to work, but it would be tight. width of the seats or 21" I don't have factory seat rails so i'm not sure how high they would sit. But measuring from the tunnel to the sil its under 21" wide, so you would have to mount them really high.
  2. make sure you mount the door and door panel before you mount them. I had these in my z when i got it and they touched the door panels. Passenger side had issues closing sometimes because of it. you may have to push them as close to the tunnel as possible.
  3. I could measure to see if they would fit in the car, but I don't have factory seat brackets anymore.
  4. I mounted my fender mirrors yesterday, I think i screwed up the measurements on the passenger side. Drivers side is perfect, but I'm seeing high right on the passenger side. At this point I'm not sure what if anything I can do about it. Remeasuring i thing its inward and forward 1 CM. I measured from the hole and not the base plate like i should have done. And now that its on the wheels, this thing is tiny! never realized how small these cars are
  5. Finally got the suspension up front all together, car hit the ground for the first time in a looong time. Just waiting on parts no to keep moving forward.
  6. Any update on the spoiler? I'm really diggin the design, like how it drops down over the back lip of the hatch.
  7. over the weekend i dropped all the rear suspension and diff. Had to fix the diff mount and run new brake line and ebrake line and got the spare tire well cut out for clearance and fuel cell. got everything all in and set now. should be putting in axles and drive shaft this week and should be on the ground next weekend. Also did a little work on the dash, this thing was ruff but I think it will come out decent.
  8. well got most of the car back together, looks better and its defiantly more durable just hitting it with tools.
  9. I don't know if you can really tell from the picture, but its pretty rough. I like it though, that was what i was going for was the wrinkle/rough finish. I'm sure the Eastwood will be better then the rustoleum, Ive always heard really good things about there products.
  10. so had a small setback over the weekend. decided I was not happy with the undercoat in the engine bay. i stripped it (other then motor/trans) and cleaned up and repainted with bed liner. looks and feels way better. I'm giving it a few days to cure then will be reassembling and finishing setting suspension this week.
  11. seats look and feel good, solid not to much twist in the fiberglass like the knock offs. Obviously I have not got to use them yet but other wise there nice.
  12. started working on the dash this weekend. Its in pretty bad shape, and there was a leak so the pad had to be separated from the frame so i could get all the surface rust off and paint it. I started by fiberglass reinforcing the corners of the pad where it was starting to crack, ill get all the cracks filled and the frame painted and get them back together for texture and paint. I also started working on the center console, repairing the cracks and doing a little modification to the fuse box cover.
  13. Ill keep that in mind, Ive got my fingers crossed that it holds up but if not ill give this stuff a try
  14. They are from a company named T7 Design out of the UK
  15. Got my bulkhead fittings in yesterday for the heater hoses, now just waiting on my silicone heater hose to show up to finish plumbing it. Also got my C pillar bar from T3, that and the roll bar are getting powder coated white to go against the black interior.
  16. it is the 3M stuff, this stuff If i did it again I may use bed liner instead, I love the way this stuff looks but I don't know that it is going to be as durable as id like it to be.
  17. Did a few things over the weekend. Got the coolant overflow can mounted (super tight fit), and test fit the roll bar.
  18. love this idea, Im going to have to tear into this when i get home from work today!
  19. Got some new parts in the mail, my repo JDM grill and my autopower roll par come in. And some pictures off progress because there cool looking. I’m also trying to figure out what to do about the steering wheel. It is too close to the driver with the quick release. Currently I have a Momo hub, from what I’ve found the BOSS hub and NRG hub are about the same. I’m thinking about using a Grant hub with adaptor or make something to work. The Grant hub should only be about an inch vs. 3 inches. Should give enough along with a wheel that’s not as deep to give a comfortable driving position.
  20. got my new quick release a few days ago. I do not like the tipical ball lock type, I had a bad experiance with one and wont go back. So surcjhing for a spline drive that was quality and wouldnt brake the bank, came accross this on a scca forum. LTB spline type, got it on ebay for $135 shipped. It was listed at $155 on ther site. feels very solid, will see how it holds up, but dont see it having issues.
  21. Got a few things done over the weekend. I got the Misimoto rad hoses in and the distributor in, and got the new ss hard line and braded soft clutch line all run. then i got just a few random shots of how its sitting at the moment. Still have some small stuff on the engine/engine bay to take care of. Need to start working on body and interior.
  22. I had the botom thread strip out on the passanger side water outlet. I tossed around several ideas to fix, but not wanting to take the front cover off eventually found this. Its a M8 to M9 repair stud, was not easy to find. Ended up ordering it from a moped shop in the uk. But it works perfect! Also (i know its a crappy picture) I got my skillard door panels in. Have not been able to test fit yet but the finish and quality of these things are top notch!
  23. Got a few other things done this weekend. I got the AN fittings and they clear everything with tons of room and leave access like i wanted. Now that i finally have that done, Ive gone through so many fittings... I also got my radiator, ended up going with a Champion 3 row with two 12" fans and shrowd. It is a little bit overkill for the set up but a little overkill never hurt anyone. Clearance is tight but everything fits. The fans came with those tie things to mount to the radiator, I didnt really like that going to the shroud so I hard mounted them with bolts instead.
