1 fast z... I saw that your in az too. I just bought a 1977 280z and I need to find an engine to swap. Do you meet up with other z owners or work on eachothers cars. My knowledge is limited but I want to learn it all.

Today I found a 72 240z for $700 in real good shape....but i want to get my 77 280z running first. I think I am going to do the 77 L28e swap. Is there a way for me to search for hybridz users in Arizona? JP

I recently bought the car and unfortunately discovered the engine is crap. So i found two engines.......one of them is from the same year and comression is #150 with a 30 day warranty. The second engine is from a 1980 280zx and is currently running in the vehicle with 120 day warranty. Both are the same price, but I was wondering which swap would be easier to complete. Also what are the changes I would need to make in order to swap an L28et instead. Thanks JP

Your 2 cents have been deposited! From what I was told, the car has been sitting for about two years, has duel weber carbs (that need rebuilding), new tires, a battery, and a complete tune-up. Besides that, the car is complete.

I found a 73 240z for like a $1000 bucks....its all there but is not currently running. I just recently got engaged and we are expecting a baby next summer...I need someone to maybe help me in any way they can to get this car running. I could spend the $1000 on some junk car that works but I unfortunately had to give up a 76 280z last year and i dont want to let this one slip away too. What can I do? JP
