Hi,
Turn them in to the police and tell them exactly where you found them. Most people will contact the police or put an ad in the paper looking for their keys.
This way they can get their keys back.
What you give comes back to you so if you do a good turn now it may come back to you when you need help
HUH?

OOPS, its the PASSENGER door lock and the hatch lock that have the codes on them... none on the driver's door or ignition lock. Both should have the code "Stamped" into them. Pic below shows hatch lock...

Keep in mind, mine is in an S130, but the B&M Quicksilver shifter sat a little too high for my liking without making a 2.5" deep tray for it to sit in mounted through the tunnel. I was able to retain and use the stock housing (cover) for it by doing it that way. It's a close fit on top of the tranny (under the tunnel), but it fits without hitting.
It did require a little welding and fabrication to make the tunnel tray, but it fit so well, I'm pleased with the result. I used a Dakota Digital readout embedded in the dash for the shifter position indicator (mounted where the "Check" display was).

My tilt front was built by bonding/molding fiberglass fenders, hood, and airdam together. Major pita/effort.
But a FANTASTIC job well done...the envy of many.

Remove the ignition lock and the steering lock will come with it. It has 2 break-off bolts that you'll have to slot and use a screwdriver in to remove. You'll see them once you remove the clamshell (plastic covers).

That beast has ALOT more in it folks, don't let Uncle Wayne fool ya.
Glad to see ya run it Wayne!

Guys, the "ironiy" of the whole situation is that it's not just the name, it also says "Turbo Approved"... that's what struck me as funny.
-
Yep, Z31's should have it there too...as well as the passenger door lock.

It's a wrap... as the ad says... "Full Body Wrap in 2007 including T-Tops and Rear Hatch Window ( The Theme Of The Wrap Is The Four Knights of the Apocalypse Horse's)".
It can be removed.

I went to this convenience store this morning (whereabouts withheld intentionally) to take a break in between calls and coming out of the store, I run across this on one of the shelves....
Oh the irony. I'd never seen this stuff before and didn't even know it existed...but it IS pretty cool to see...
(sorry for the horrible cell phone picture)

74-79 Nissan (Datsun) 260Z-280ZX takes 62DT/62DU (Both Masters) keyblank with 6 cuts
80-83 Nissan (Datsun) 280ZX takes DA23/DA24 (Both Masters) keyblank with 6 cuts
84-up Nissan (Datsun) 300ZX takes DA25 (Master)/DA28 (Valet) with 8 cuts
5 of the 6 above keyways are different. You'll need keys cut on DA25 (Master) or DA28 (Valet) to fit in the 84 and up locks without damaging anything. The early blanks "look" like they'll fit, but the grooves are quite different.
So to answer your question, not if the keyblanks are manufactured correctly.

Kinda hard to do the burnout and videotape it from outside of the car at the same time, especially since it was one of those spur of the moment things and I don't walk around with a video camera all the time.

What do you do when you have a shop 3 doors down from a performance shop with a Dynojet inground dyno, listen to a car being run on that dyno all morning long, have too much time on your hands, haven't driven your car for almost 3 months and see someone in a Grand National do a 45 foot burnout after getting their car off of the dyno?

Take out the ZX and do a 4000 rpm 93 ft burnout after sitting on the linelock through 1st & 2nd gear...
I feel MUCH better now.

Not a new idea... Look up a "Corbin Sparrow"...although it only had the dimples on the fenders, the same principle is applied. Look at the rear of the front fenders in these pictures.

The x2770 is a JATCO 3N71B 3 speed auto tranny for a TURBO turbo car. The Non-Turbo designator is X2707. The X8703 was a 3 speed with with a lock up converter. ALL are 3N71B's. Refer to the 82 S130 microfiche for more info or verification.

You're gonna LOVE those W-2G's at the end of the year. Better put some aside for then.

What's the stupidest thing your previous owner did?
Besides mounting a Wings West wrap around spoiler leaving HUGE holes to rust out which they did, installing fog lights under the front bumper, a Dale Earnhart "3" tag on the front bumper with Tec screws, driving it on the beach in Sarasota FL and packing the frame rails with sand, incorrectly fixing the hood where his lovely wife backed into it with a pick-up truck, installing a "Dial-A-Boost" boost controller, and smoking cigars in it making the interior smell like an old man with body odor all the time,
He sold it to ME!

I also just purchased a house, so starting another project in addition probably wont be an option for a while
All the more reason to keep what you've got and enjoy it. Houses cost...period.
-
Damn Dale, before your retirement, it would have taken you 6 months or so to do that much work... must be nice to be able to dedicate all of your time to the car now... (i.e., you lucky bastard...hahahah)

Nope, No idle air control valve whatsoever.

EM4-6F, Idle is 750 on SDS & Tach... 20 degrees...Just as smooth as a baby's butt.

Sorry to hear about this Dale, but let me know if you're gonna go through it yourself. I'd like to take a peek at it's guts. I built my 2004R myself and would like to do a little comparing. If yoiu need some help getting it out and back in, lemme know. I also have ready access to some of the specialty tools if it's anything like the 2004R. Even have the jack you might need.
