  1. You have a welder, why not take the seat reclining device apart and weld the teeth back on it? You can shape them with a simple hand file and they'll probably be harder when you're done than when they were originally. Don't EVER be afraid to be creative.

Just and idea...it'll only take you some time, a bit of wire and some electricity.

  2. ... what's a guy to do? :weird:

    4 words, choose either 2...

    JET HOT

    or

    Exhaust Wrap

I chose both (through the system) Jet Hot for the manifold and turbo hot side, and exhaust wrapped from the turbo to the flange above the rear crossmember. No regrets and no heat transfer to the floor/tunnel/tranny. Can almost hold your hand on the wrapped portion after a good run. I double layered the pipe using 1/8" thick wrap...looks like a wooly mammoth's trunk, but it stays cool on the outside.

  3. "That pipe is also hurting your airflow more then likely because the flow at the back of the pipe is probably turbulent. Not only is it not allowing the air to cool the back of the pipe via convection but the air behind it is going to be stagnate, rendering that area of the intercooler less effective."

Never blown out a candle sitting behind a beer bottle? Same effect utilized here.

  4. I just told you (a couple of posts up), it's a PCV hose, made of rubber, about a foot long with a 90 degree bend in it. I know the hose, but didn't remember whether or not the ends were the same size. Only hot air and perhaps some oil (in vapor form) should be going through it. It's purpose is to connect the crankcase to the intake manifold to alleviate block pressure and keep a vacuum on the block itself and thus decreasing oil blow by at the piston rings, as well as other functions. Search "PCV system" on here, alot has been written about it.

EDIT: Ok, I was NOT correct about the ends being the same size. Here is the item you want, a place to get it, and an easy link to click. Click Here This part MAY be available from your local Nissan dealership, (and may cost less).

  5. In your "future upgrades"...

    - SDS EM-4 6F 1700.00 (check sdsefi.com for price increases)

    - 2 Bar MAP 80.00 (3 Bar one should come with the SDS)

    - TPS 90.00 (Should be on the 240SX 60mm Throttle Body already)

    - Fuel Pump relay 30.00 (Use the stock one, it works fine)

    - 60mm TB 50.00 (Junkyards have these a dime a dozen...Thanks Dorifto Ricer Boys)

    - Taylor 10.4mm plug wires 130.00 (NOT recommended for use with SDS, See their tech page)

    - Fuel Injectors 200.00 (estimate - haven't decided) (Gonna cost more for NEW ones)

    - Fuel 120.00 (Shouldn't be included in build cost, but ok)

    - T3/T4 turbo (ebay) 200.00 (Good luck with that)

    - Harmonic damper 90.00 (Nothing wrong with the Stock one, ask me how I know)

    - Aluminum radiator 460.00 (Chevy type from Summit, $250 tops)

    - Electric fan 150.00 (Taurus 2 Speed from junkyard ($25))

    - Fan relay 30.00 ($15 at NAPA all day long)

    - Centerforce II clutch 295.00 (If you really want it)

    - Oil cooler 200.00 (Should have come with the "Complete" L28ET)

There, I just saved you a BUNCH of money...At least enough for a decent Boost Controller and a gauge or two.

    (Just suggestions, not criticisms)
