I have one available, $50 plus shipping.

You can use the Bosch ones or buy the cheap ones on Ebay.
Bosch P/N 1-287-013-003

I have a couple Sata's and the Iwata LPH-400. Its a totally different animal but it lays out paint and clear like glass. Now for your occasional paint job, the Devilbiss 670 is a great gun as well. A buddy just bought the cheap finish line gun and it does a nice job as well.

If you have a '78 with the stock head you need a N47 exhaust manifold.

Are these the parts you are looking for?

I'm curious if anyone has tried the MSA stage 1 turbo cam and has any feedback on it. The durations are 260/250 but its ground on a 114 LSA, much wider than stock and I think would make for a smooth idle, reduced overlap and increased throttle response.

I'm looking for some nice 240z bumpers. I'll be in the Los Angeles area this weekend if anyone has some good ones available please PM me.

Wanted to buy, a rust free rear hatch for a 280z in the WA, OR or CA off of the I5 corridor. Will be on the road next Tuesday if anyone has one available.
Thanks.

It just gives you an idea of how radical the cam is. The higher the 'stage' the more duration and more lift the cam will have. Higher stages typically require more compression for the larger cam to work as well or you end up with a dog. Your basic stock motor with headers will work well with a stage 1 cam.

Looking to buy a stock turbocharger for a L28ET in good condition, no shaft play and no bent fins please.
-
Anyone have a stock L28 cam they want to get rid of, please PM me.
TIA

Thats pretty clever Pyro, I'd like to see more pics of that install if possible.

Thanks for the offer but I just found a near perfect section from the firewall to the shock tower. Currently my battery box section looks like the one in your pictures, can't wait to start installing this new section.

I'm also interested if the Eclispe injectors are worth pursuing, you can find them pretty cheap. Anyone use them?
-
Perfect, thanks again. I guess I'm going with TABCO, at least they are pretty cheap to buy.
-
Thanks Chris, by fitting OK do you mean they could fit a whole lot better? Where did you have to do most of the trimming on those?
-
Does anyone know if there are multiple manufacturers of replacement 280z rocker panels or if one brand/source fits better than another?
TIA,
Scott

Thanks for the help, I'm thinking a Pallnet rail with "O" ring injectors that have more output than the stock injectors, something in the 440-450 range.

Looks great man!! I wish I knew you needed that piece, I had a good donor section. I just replaced that entire apron piece last weekend on our car. BTW, does anyone have pics or ideas on how to repair the right inner fender battery box or an inner fender?

Hi everyone,
My son and I are rebuilding a 280Z with a L28ET swap and will be doing the MS conversion as well. I'm watching Craigslist and cruise the junkyards for the EDIS system (assuming its the best system to use) and fuel injectors. Before I spend any money on injectors, which ones work the best with MS. For example, do the Eclispse 450cc DSM black tops play well with MS because they seem to be plentiful and pretty cheap. I'm also not clear on which injectors need to use dropping resistors or not. I'd like to keep it simple and use tried and true parts.
Thanks,
Scott

OMG Cyg.. that is one awesome looking car and a very nice website. You really got it right with that build. Great tip on mounting the AFM where you did boardkid, it looks great. So my dilema is, do the AFM now and get it running or just spend some more time and do the Megasquirt mod as long as we are at it. Good news on the TB too, if I can find a TPS switch I think I would rather go that route, and thanks again for those links, I haven't come across the 'hammonds' one before.

Not sure what these go for, I have a spare '77 tach and there is one on Ebay right now for $75.
