  1. Hey guys I’ve recently got a few orders from HybridZ so I thought I’d make a post that yes I still am making the Crossmembers to order. They are on ebay but I give HybridZ members a discount so don’t buy it on Ebay and shoot me a DM.

  2. Hey guys I’ve had this idea for a long time! I finally came up with a design and 3D printed them out! They are printed in Carbon Fiber PLA and super stiff!

I will be putting the through a digital wind tunnel and am thinking of selling them. They look pretty bad ass on the car! Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel!

@seattlejester Have you ever checked the weight balance after your swap?

    @OverkillZ Might have info too.

YES I actually did! I 4 pointed the car before and after the swap. It’s in my build thread somewhere but the car weighed 2610 with the l28 and 2680 with the 2jz in it. If you think about it it’s mostly all the turbo stuff and intercooler piping that wasn’t there before. And yes the weight moves forward even with my crossmember slamming the motor back against the firewall. And that is with my batter up front. If I moved the battery to the back it would almost cancel out the weight shift.

Thank you for your input as I find your first hand experiences as tremendously invaluable info for my 2J build. I am in no way trying to build something with your power goals (550+ high boost on E-85) and am certain I will run the stock intake. It will also save a nice amount of money as most aftermarket intakes are not cheap. Now if I could just make up my mind as to go forged rods and pistons or cleaned up stock bottom end. I have everything else for the top end minus the intended port work. Thanks again....

You’ll do just fine on a stock bottom end at those numbers.

  5. So as you all can tell.... I didn’t sell the car.... I did it he stupid thing and put 10 more grand into it LOL.....

The build had its limitations and everything was pushed to the max so I upgraded yet again!

went to a smaller turbo precision 72/75 gen2

    went bigger injector ID2000s

went to a bigger fuel pump manga fuel 750

BC stage 3+ cams/springs and titanium retainers

    redid fuel tank feed lines

went to a stock intake manifold(drivability)

went to a Exede triple plate clutch

cars running and driving now just waiting for dyno time.

Just wondering what size turbo I should use for my 2jz build if I want to start spooling around 3,000 RPM, what do you guys think?

There are a lot of questions to figure out a turbo size. Why did you pick 3,000rpm?

what fuel you plan to run?

    how much power you want?

    Built motor? Stock motor?

what do you want to use the car for? Street?drag?autocross?mile?track?

once you know what the motors mission is give the guys a Real Street a call. They really helped me choose my turbo with dyno graphs and cam choices.
