  9. Hey guys I’ve had this idea for a long time! I finally came up with a design and 3D printed them out! They are printed in Carbon Fiber PLA and super stiff! I will be putting the through a digital wind tunnel and am thinking of selling them. They look pretty bad ass on the car! Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel!
  10. YES I actually did! I 4 pointed the car before and after the swap. It’s in my build thread somewhere but the car weighed 2610 with the l28 and 2680 with the 2jz in it. If you think about it it’s mostly all the turbo stuff and intercooler piping that wasn’t there before. And yes the weight moves forward even with my crossmember slamming the motor back against the firewall. And that is with my batter up front. If I moved the battery to the back it would almost cancel out the weight shift.
  11. You’ll do just fine on a stock bottom end at those numbers.
  12. Having the oversized intake manifold made it really touchy on throttle tip in. So I went from a 100mm to a 90mm throttle body on a stock manifold. the stock manifolds actually flow well enough for over 1000hp
  13. Actually I have been flying a lot!! Almost done with my private
  14. So as you all can tell.... I didn’t sell the car.... I did it he stupid thing and put 10 more grand into it LOL..... The build had its limitations and everything was pushed to the max so I upgraded yet again! went to a smaller turbo precision 72/75 gen2 went bigger injector ID2000s went to a bigger fuel pump manga fuel 750 BC stage 3+ cams/springs and titanium retainers redid fuel tank feed lines went to a stock intake manifold(drivability) went to a Exede triple plate clutch cars running and driving now just waiting for dyno time.
  15. Sense he was an autocross guy, increased chassis stiffness was probably more important then ease of installation. It made a big difference To rail lift after welding it in so I’m sure that’s why he designed it the way he did.
  16. When they bolted it in they reinforced the holes with vertical tubing and used the side plate on the top. I think that was a bit much but if you’re going to do something might as well do it right.
  17. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F113101593466
  18. It’s not as fun as it sounds lololol ..... sigh 😅
  19. There are a lot of questions to figure out a turbo size. Why did you pick 3,000rpm? what fuel you plan to run? how much power you want? Built motor? Stock motor? what do you want to use the car for? Street?drag?autocross?mile?track? once you know what the motors mission is give the guys a Real Street a call. They really helped me choose my turbo with dyno graphs and cam choices.
