My mechanic just told me that my head can't be fixed. I've done a search and it seems that a n42 will be best for me. my car is stock and probably going to stay that way for a wile. Is this right way to go and does anybody know where to get one. I'm going to check eBay next. I would like to find one today since I'm going out of town for a week and would like to order one before I leave. Thanks

I'm finally found someone to redo my head. I am trying to figure what else I should have the mechanic replace while he has the car. I have most of the hoses and belts. I still in Italy and having to get someone to translate everything to the mechanic. Not everything translates the same. I think he just going to replace what I give him. If anybody could think of what the top things are It would be a great help. Thanks

I have a 78 280z and I'm looking for a rebuilt motor? I'm living in Italy and am worried about how to explain everything. I could have my current motor rebuilt but I was told that with 275k miles that I would need it balanced and blue printed. I have no Idea how to translate that in Italian. Not to mention Neapolitans will half ass things to save money. I was thinking a block balanced and blue printed with everything installed wouldn't cost too much to ship. Then ship the head and anything else separate. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just bought my fist z. I also just found out that I have a blown head. I thought of just rebuilding it but the money for hp isn't to appealing. I'm currently living in Italy were they sale Silvias. I've looked around on the site and it seems that nobody done the swap. Would the cars being left hand drive make it easier? I would do an 80's turbo swap but then I would probably have to rebuild that to. I might not have a choice but to rebuild what I've got. If I had a complete donor car could I take almost everything that I would need? The biggest problem is my lack of knowledge on cars. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
