i'm not sure what i want to do with the wheels on it so far. they dont appear to be in terrible shape but i didnt look at them to long. i know the paint is starting to come off the centers and will need to be redone.

i can get more pics sat. I can tell you the red one originally spent some time in califorinia or was originally from there. about 10 years ago it was braught to nebraska 7 of those years it was garage kept and never in snow. the last 3 its sat outside in that grove of trees. it looks to have a cusom hedliner beacause it has the diamond shape "lowrider" style stitch pattern. other then that i dont know much about it. i baught it from a guy i work with along with the grey one for free.

the grey one is getting parted out after i get what i want off of it since there is no title. the red one is going to get an sr20det swapped in once i get enough money for it. i'm hoping i can get close to what i need from parting the grey 2+2. i'm prolly gunna keep the red one fairly close to stock body wise repaint it eventually and maybe add some bigger wheels. i like the bbs style wheels and the larger sized wheels similar to the ones it has.

haha yeah the offset is pretty huge. they stick out quite a bit. they have smaller tires on right now that are stretched on so they dont rub on the back. i can get some more pics of it by friday or sat though

not sure what kind of wheels they are. i know they're 15". i"ll have to take a look when i get it home on friday or sat.

Hi everyone just wanted to share my recent purchase and get some feed back on them. i may be looking to part out the silver car after i get what i want of it so let me know if theres anything you guys may want. I can get more pics if needed. the mint dash off the silver car will be mine for sure for all those who may be concerned haha .:wink:i need to fund my sr20det swap some how lol. 1983 2807x n/a 5spd 1981? 280zx n/a 5spd this one has a fried harness but the motor supposedly ran fine before the previous owner put the battery in backwards. i was told the tranny was rebuilt not to long before it was parked

i'm goin to pick this up this weekend in the middle of bfe nebraska. sat for 3 years put a battery in her and she started right up and ran great with the old gas in it. i was told it originally came from california about 10 years ago. 7 of those years it stayed inside of a garage and was never driven in snow. for the last 3 its been sitting outside. seems to be in decent shape and for $500 who can complain. it comes with an 81 2+2 with fried wiring. note. never put battery in backwards lol

Hi, new to the forum here. I am going to be picking up my $500 1983 280zx n/a this weekend with a free 1981 2+2 for parts. Not being to familiar with datsuns. What can i use off the 2+2? also I was looking into parting the 2+2 out after i get what i want off of it to fund my sr20det swap, is ther much of a demand for 2+2 parts? i would also like to know if there are any motor mount kits for the sr20det in the 280zx? if not would any for the 240,260, or 280z work? any help would be great. thanks

i guess i'm all for using what you have but how are you going to get the fwd block to work in the z? i guess last time i checked the block mounts where cast difforently for fwd cars. i guess pardon me if i'm wrong but making mouts to hold the weight of the engine and transmission safely might be a bit more work using that block. correct me if i'm wrong i'm not to familiar with altima's just asking the un asked.
