If that system were automated, I think it would be a good system to implement. Especially in the classifieds. It seems that NO ONE reads the rules in there.

The forum here is run pretty tight as is. There are many restrictions and guys are forced to toe the line and I like it that way. Keeps the playing field level and everyone on the right track.
No matter how hard you try, you will not make everyone abide by the rules let alone read them. That is what the big ban hammer is for.

I changed the message throttling options for new users, they can only send 1 PM to 1 recipient every 30 minutes.
That should turn them off quick enough.

Ha! So that's what happened. I was a little taken back by this new wierd restriction. I tried to send a pm and was told NO!! lol I had to wait for 30 min.

She got a shave...I wanted to see what it would look like without the bumpers

She is definaitely an ugly duckling...wait until I do the bodywork and paint. I am thinking of something flashy!

Hello, I just aquired this wonderful 1973 240Z form a guy looking for a trade on CL. I traded my 1973 620 truck in a strait trade. I thought is sounded like a great deal for me. I have alway wanted a Zcar and now I finally have it!

The 240Z has all the rust in all the usual places, but it is workable. The L24 smoked, the interior is decent, the tranny has been gone through recently nice and tight and smooth shifting, flat tops YUK! I have to get started on transforming this baby....so here we go
She has new struts and control arms, a small amount of rust in the usual places.....but it is a Z car. I have wanted one for ever and now I finally have one. She also comes with a set of round top SUs and some other stuff. I WILL need help from you Z car guys...since this is all new to me.

First things first....I had to make her a Hybrid Z car, so I went for the swap not even 8 hours after I got her. :burnout:Thanks to Skib this was a smooth but time consuming swap.

Hi, I have a 260z with hitachi flat top carbs and I put on round top SU carbs and kept the 260z intake. I had to modify the linkage but your swap will be pretty easy I think. I got rid of all my emission stuff as well as the water that runs through the intake as well as the idle compensator with no ill effects. I can send you some photos if you like. I no longer have the carbon canister or egr hooked up and swaped out an early non egr top piece to bypass it altogether. I ran an exhaust manifold that had the heat yubes removed and ends plugged.

Hi Dave!!
I ran a custom intake with dual downdraft 32/36 on my L20b in a 620 truck. I liked the response, but not the fuel economy.
Here is how it ran..
I personally like the round top SUs.
