Any one take finish off valve cover without using sandblaster?

i know there was a guy trying a 390 swap in 2006 but i dont know if he was successful. has any one finish the swap.

I am using modified 300z computer with the mass air flow censor

I have a 71 datsun 240 with a 83 engine with upgraded turbo, bigger fuel injectors,bigger fuel pump, 3in exhaust. my aim was for 300 hp. my car is fowling plugs like crazy. First off is the stock regulator ok for what i am aiming for? and do you think maybe the regulator might need to be replaced because its allowing too much fuel thru?

I have a 83 turbo. What compression should my engine have? The cylinder avg. 120.

I have 71 datsun 240z with a 83 zx motor with upgraded turbo setup. I have upgraded injectors, fuel pump, and modified fuel tank with outlet fuel line facing rear. The flutters when i am in 4th or 5th gear when i try to pass someone. i have a fuel pressure gauge in the engine compartment that flutters with the car. any ideas?

I have a 71 z. It has an 83 motor with the 96 trany swap. I have a bully clutch that was made for the original 5 speed. When I start the car in gear with clutch fully engaged, it will pull forward. I have tried making the slave rod longer, increasing the pivot under the fork. When I fully engage clutch it looks like the fork cant go any further in the the slot that it fits in the side of the trany . Any idea's ?

I have a 71z with a z32 trany swap. When I start the car when in 1st gear and the clutch fully engaged, the car wants to move forward. I used the l28 release bearing. Does anyone know if the z32 relaese bearing is longer? Or if it will even work? I am useing a bully six pack clutch. Any ideas?

i have a diff from a 83 zx turbo automatic. does anyone know what ratio that diff comes with?
