i know there was a guy trying a 390 swap in 2006 but i dont know if he was successful. has any one finish the swap.

I am using modified 300z computer with the mass air flow censor

I have a 71 datsun 240 with a 83 engine with upgraded turbo, bigger fuel injectors,bigger fuel pump, 3in exhaust. my aim was for 300 hp. my car is fowling plugs like crazy. First off is the stock regulator ok for what i am aiming for? and do you think maybe the regulator might need to be replaced because its allowing too much fuel thru?

I have a 83 turbo. What compression should my engine have? The cylinder avg. 120.

I have 71 datsun 240z with a 83 zx motor with upgraded turbo setup. I have upgraded injectors, fuel pump, and modified fuel tank with outlet fuel line facing rear. The flutters when i am in 4th or 5th gear when i try to pass someone. i have a fuel pressure gauge in the engine compartment that flutters with the car. any ideas?

I have a 71 z. It has an 83 motor with the 96 trany swap. I have a bully clutch that was made for the original 5 speed. When I start the car in gear with clutch fully engaged, it will pull forward. I have tried making the slave rod longer, increasing the pivot under the fork. When I fully engage clutch it looks like the fork cant go any further in the the slot that it fits in the side of the trany . Any idea's ?

I have a 71z with a z32 trany swap. When I start the car when in 1st gear and the clutch fully engaged, the car wants to move forward. I used the l28 release bearing. Does anyone know if the z32 relaese bearing is longer? Or if it will even work? I am useing a bully six pack clutch. Any ideas?

i dont know if anyone has seen this comercial down there. i am from canada you see. the other day i saw a nissan comercial that started out as a 240 and then changed into all the next z's in line and then finished as the 350z. any one else see this?

My clutch is for a 280 zx turbo motor and my i found that i have a type b 5peed. So what size collar would i use for that?

Is it true what e racer said about the collar size is dependent on the clutch?

I have a 71 240 z. it has a brand new rebuilt 5 speed. I have a brand new bully clutch. I installed the trans myself and i am having shifting problems. I engage the clutch and have a really hard time getting it into gear. I was searching a forum and someone said about different throw out bearing collar sizes. I would like to het the proper one for my trany, but i dont know what car my 5 speed comes from. i looked on my trans and all i could find on it is L3. Does that mean anything?

i bought a tension rod kit from the z store. does anyone have any pics on installing one?

i had the flywheel lightend from the back but i dont know if he did any re surfacing? why does that matter?

Has any one put a exedy clutch 06-900a in their cars? the website i found it on is http://www.clutchcityonline.com. I got a new clutch last year and its slipping from the start almost. i have never even popped the clutch on my car and i hardly drove it. i want to get a good clutch this time. I went to a local shop to get the one that i have but I dont remember what kind it was.

i tried that too.. i wired it open first and that did not work either

in fact i had the turbo powder coated. and then put back together by a pro turbo shop. i am sure they would have noticed something wrong
