Kohi Annan was in trouble until Pres. Bush agreed there was a need for an investigation and Sen. Norm Coleman called for Annan's resignation. Now that the U.S. has expressed it's views the whole world will line up to protect Annan and the U.N. regardless of how much incriminating evidence there is.
The moment the U.S. spoke out against the scandal was the moment Annan's job was secured by everyone else.
What a crock of sh@&.

Did you say "Lamborghini" or "Rice A Roni"?

Nice job man! The combination of wheels, flares, tires and everything else really does look great. And the best part is...it ain't all show.

Oh boy- with the dismal failure of Democratic Presidential candidates from the North East, I can't wait to see how Hillary distances herself from New York and starts proclaiming that she's "just a Southern girl from Arkansas"!

If your not sure, email Paul at http://www.5speeds.com. He is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Anyone who supports the automotive aftermarket and uses their passion for cars to express their individualism is cool with me.
Some of those little ricer's will grow up to build real cars someday!

I sold em. Never mind.

I picked up a set of 87' L98 heads about 6 months ago to use on this project. I got them for $500 and they are in excellent shape (rebuilt, glass beaded, etc.) That was before I found this website and began reading the numerous horror stories of people trying to fit headers on angle plug heads in a Z (can't change plugs, steering shaft clearance issues, frame rail issues, blah, blah, blah).
Now I just want to puke. Should I sell these heads and get some straight plug heads or go ahead with what I got (could use rams horn manifolds or Sanderson QP1000 cast series-35lbs and $480!).

Thanks for getting back to me Mike. I pulled my 280Z tank out of storage and measured it-about 38" wide. Is that about the size of your 240Z tank?

OK, I've tried and I can't find out who plays the song in the first video. I know Finch is the second band (cause it says so). Who is the band in the first video? That song kicks ass...even my wife likes them...we're having a breakthrough moment!

Yea, I remember that show... God I feel old!

Thanks Matt for the detailed answer and the Racetronix link. Please keep us posted on your tank install.

Question: I am finishing up the sub-frame connectors and floorpans and would like to choose and install a fuel tank while the car is still on the rotisserie. I don't want a fuel cell and this LT1 tank could be an option for me but...
-Can the internal fuel pump be used w/a carborated SBC(fuel press. decreased)?
-Will it allow the installation of Ferrari GTO style dual exhaust or is it too wide?
-Do heat shields need to be fabbed and positioned between the mufflers and tank and between the filler tube and exhaust?
-What alternative tanks can I use? I want a factory looking tank that permits the filler tube to be positioned close to the stock location. One of the members here (74 5.0L Z) posted a photo of his during a thread discussing suspension (see: Sub-frame connectors and rear sway-bar clearance). His tank set-up looks like a nice clean install; I emailed him to find out what he had but got no response. Does anyone know what tank he has?
-Mike kZ mentioned using the stock tank and relocating it to the center of the car to accomodate duals (see: Fuel Delivery-Fuel cell options to have external filling...??). Can anyone elaborate on this...Mike?
I am a decent fabricator and welder-I just need to know what to start with!

...Flat black hood (with tach mounted on it), black aluminum louvered rear window, nice duals...
Could be cool if done tastefully.

Do a search. This was just covered yesterday and probably a thousand other times.

Man, I think that color is way cool! It fits in perfectly with the retro craze thats going on now with cars. I can't believe the new Mustang or GTO doesn't have a factory color like that; remember "Plum Crazy" or "Grabber Green" from the sixties musclecars?
Anyway, you are the one who has to get up and look at it everyday. If you like it who gives a f*&$ what other people think. Remember...this is Hybrid Z!
