I personally went to a junkyard and picked up some from some GM V6... Even had the cylinder #'s on the connector... Cost me all of 5 bucks (that included a bunch of other sensors as well...

Kinda sounds like a problem with your CD or CDROM.... I have also had this error with bad ram.... but unfortunately the error is sort of ambiguous, and could mean anything.
-
Sounds very good.....
I have been thinking about how cool one of them would be with a turbo R1 motor or a hayabusa. Just think of how that would sound Hurby blowing past at 12000 RPM
hehehe

That is very sweet, saw that posted on WPG Hights. I really hope to see your car around this year!!
-
I also have 16" CCWs' date=' but my offset is for a 240SX so the wheels look just a tad shallower, but your car is looking mean!
Davy[/quote']
These are running 5.5" of backspace. Thanks really think it is quite mean too. Should be blocking it this week! yaaa!

Looking real nice. I also like those wheels. What brand are they?
Joshua

My car in coming along, and the more that we put back on the more excited I get!
anyway I just wanted to post the pictures of my car! So that I could tell someone who could understand, that it is not a porche...and Why someone would do that.
My Fav still has to be the guy down the street, he is doing a full original 260. And it had tons of rust... And every time I talk to him he is still very unhappy that i have modified my 260, or "Ruined it" as he says... and me I just smile because I know it is what I want... and really how many people would cry over 1 more 260 modified?

Very serious about a Datsun T-5... I really like the idea of a built t-5.
Count me in as long as the price is in this range!

How about this... I found this site the other day...
http://www.brightheadlights-hid.com/Headlights-sealed-beams.htm
Or the newer version

Now I know nothing of the site, or the quality of the setup but it looks alright...

I am wanting to bring my stock l28 flywheel to the machinist this week...
And before I do I would like to just confirm the info that i have found from my searching,
- The stock flywheel can be cut down to 17-15 LBS with out worries
- And that mass is removed from the back side of the flywheel (Anyone with pictures would be super)
Thanks for the time. I couldn't find a thread on exactly where this mass is removed from, so I figured that I would ask.

Ya that would be almost enough for winnnipeg... lol

Well yes, most of the sound below about 250Hz is quite omnidirectional... Placement will effect output (SPL - Actually bass volume). In several systems that I have installed sub placement, has made a large difference on how loud the subs are. In my 280zx they were the best sounding 8" off the rear glass and few degrees less of an angle, then the rear deck. The best way in my experience to find out how the sub placement will effect your install is to through them just any box and listen to them, in different placements.
But that is just my .02

I've got a 2000 Honda VFR 800. 40000 KM Still as good as the day I rode it off the dealer floor.
Been from Mexico to Alaska. Love it!

Amidst all this I would say that a bike can be a fun reliable and cheap mode of transportation. I have been riding since I was 16 (Read a ton of km's), yes I have been down a few times, but really thinking on it they were mostly my fault. Usually a lack of paying attention. Riding a bike requires you to look out for everyone else as well as yourself. And I would agree that accidents are when not if, but I think it is that way with any thing you drive (read car/SUV/Datsun). But if you take the MSF course and ride smart you can avoid most major accidents. And really to tell the honest truth my latest bike has been more reliable then my Z...
But I also know that it is not for everyone, I know some people who have had bikes but never got into it, just not for them i guess. But one side note.... if this is your first street bike, I would suggest something smaller, IE 600cc. There really is little that a 900 can do that a 600 can't, plus they are more forgiving.
Good luck what ever the choice!

Thanks.... I must be a retard, I really try to keep those retarted moments to a min....
But thanks for answering anyway!

Alright... I have done the search thing... but I just wanted to ask some turbo guys what they used. I am replacing my manifold gasket, is the feelpro ok or should I spring the extra cash for the oem nissan gasket? I was just slightly conserned that the feelpro may give me problems in the future...
-
That sounds like the problem, but I am positive that i have no vacuum leaks. To be sure I redid all of my vacuum lines. The car is super hard to park, as it just wants to stall unless it has a bunch of rpm

Alright I have done some searching but haven’t found exactly what I need. The problem is that my car (260z with a l28 Turbo) seems to choke on light accel. The car starts perfect, but when I step on it seems to... hit kinda a dead spot, but after that it revs up to redline no problem. It is just that part throttle that... just delays for a second. I am trying to explain the best i can, anyway any help you "guys" may have would be appreciated.

Thanks soo much that is exactly what I needed

So I finally have my car running again. And it is time to get my exhaust done up. I want to go with 3", but I am lightly concerned with ground clearance, as the car is lowered already. If anyone has pictures of there 3" from the back and from under. I just would like to see how many bends I will need.
I just want to know what I need when I talk to the shop again.
Thanks all

Alright, I have read this over and over, and i just don't get it... I have to valve cover off and the engine at TDC, of the compression/power stroke. Now the dizzy is at the plug 1 wire (actually just before) and both valves are closed. Now if i look through the hole in the cam gear that has 1 cast to it i see a - with a key way just below I have a pic here
Here is the full sized one http://hybridz.org/nuke/modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/16934/Pictures%20022.1.jpg
You can see the dash and the key way is just to the right (in the pic the engine is just off TDC) but when it is @ TDC the right side of the - is the start of the keyway (so it is kinda -u)
The 2nd pic is of the cam position at tdc...
To see the full sized ones i uploaded them to a gallery, Let me know if you guys see anything odd...

Well i am going to get the engine to tdc of the compression stroke and see where the dizzy is. But the distributer was tight before i moved it around (and i did mark it so that i could return it to it's original position...

Sorry if this has been covered, I was unable to find what I needed in from a search.
Now I have a problem with my L28et not running (please check out the troubleshooting post) And we are thinking timing, so my question is what is the easiest way to check cam timing. Do I have to pull off the lower cover to get at the crank gear or is there an easier way... and if not anyone's pitfall's that they have to share would be super helpful
thanks
