congrats on the first ride! show us some pics already! we love pics!!

havent had much time to work on the z but here are some pics of its current condition. last weekend i stripped most of the junk from under the hood(except of the longblock) and degreased,scuffed,washed and painted the engine compartment.those icky yellow wires were only used for the startup of the engine.im still waiting on a couple of parts to arrive. the car is about 2 hrs from where i am currently living due to work.so its pretty hard to get stuff done. im happy to say that i will be moving back home(where the car is) and should have the car moving under its own power in a couple of months. after that it will sit again while i do some body work. check out the rest of the pics in my gallery. http://album.hybridz.org/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=7907

i know how a cowl hood works. i was replying to what the other guy. not all vents on hoods are for letting air out. and besides if its a street car i doubt that he will be traveling at speeds that will affect the how the car performs or cools. he was just trying to show his work. give him a break.
