Mike Kz, Thanks for the e-mail and the post, your writeup was almost exactly what i've been looking for.
Grumpyvette - thanks for your input. I've always been a little biased towards chevy, that was the main reason for the 12 bolt interest. I dont plan on pushing anything close to 700 hp, however i'll do a bit more research on the ford 9 inch and the ease of install before i go ahead and make my final decision.

Alright,
I've owned 6 z's before, but they weren't daily drivers, and i had to sell them due to financial obligations, girlfriends who refused to ride in the cars, or neighbors who kept calling the city to tow my cars. Anyhow, i just picked up another z to replace my daily driver. I got an awesome deal of $1000 for the car. Anyhow, my question is: is it worth getting comprehensive and collision (both with $500 deductibles) for a car that only cost me $1000 but eventually will have much more into it? What do you guys suggest? Thanks for the input.

Alright, i've spend the better part of my morning trying to find some detailed information on how to swap in a 12 bolt chevy solid axle into my 73 z. I've found some pages, many with old pictures that no longer display, as well as out-dated website links. Is it possible that somebody has a complete writeup (even not so complete, anything!) of how to swap a solid chevy rear into a Z? I'd like to replicate Mikekz's setup. I remember a while ago somebody had a very detailed description of how to do it with a corvette IRS, if you remember what i'm talking about, i'd like something as straightforward as that. Thanks for the help guys.

I can't for the life of me find the model # or series for the Mallory Dual Point distributor so i can order a new rotor cap. If somebody can provide me with this information, it would be most greatly appreciated. I called motorsport, and they only told me they could order it and it would take 2 weeks to get there and cost me $30. need it this week. If somebody wants to sell me their distributor cheap too, even better.
thanks again

Terry,
I did try a search with "diffuser" before i posted this, and i did find some old info (with broken picture links) as you mentioned, but i was mainly looking for visual aids to get design ideas. Thanks for your help.

What i would to know is why was he drinking COORS (EWW) to begin with?
I think it goes without saying that its not only the death of her son that we're dealing with, but that the youth of america has no appreciation for finer beers.
Should he have been drinking a heavy draught beer, he would have passed out long before he wouldve got the urge to visit his girlfriend.
Just my two cents, and my taste in beer.

After reading a recent post on the extremely limited top speed of the Z car, (i have a 260) I did a search on diffusers and belly pans, but i was unable to find anything recent, or with working pictures. Can you guys share some of your experiences with making or using front/rear air diffusers and belly pans? Any pictures would be extremely helpful. Thanks
