http://www.wheelreplicas.com/cobrar5lug.htm
Its offers them in, "+24mm or +34mm, and +27mm".
Which ones do you have Paul?
Thanks!!!

I tried to talk myself out of 17inch Cobra R's, but you have me sunk. would you be terribly offended if I got the same flair/wheel combo? Your car is so beautiful, i'm still laughing because it's so trick.
Ditto, I normally don't care for fender flares, but those have me hooked.
The more and more I look at your car Paul, the more I want "that" look on my Z.

How much lower from stock is the car in the top two pics (cardomain)?
The rear is alittle high, but overall I think it looks pretty mean.
What size tires are being used in the pics?
Thanks!!

They end up sticking out a little too far for me. I am going to end up using a small spacer and flaring.
The rims end up sticking out too far? Front or rear?
Thanks!!!

Perfect!!
That's exactly what I was wanting to see.

I was going to buy a used one from one of the guys here for $50. I guess that up to the seller. What year is your car?
I am not even sure the motor is original, but I was told the motor came from a '75.
But if the head alone is only worth $50, I might just try and sell the whole complete EFI motor and/or trans as a package deal. It would be great for someone wanting EFI on an older Z.

I have my suspension setup to run 17X9" wheel in the rear and 17X8" wheel in the front. I needed to install coilovers front and back. I had to use a 8" spring in the rear to keep the spring perch above the wheel for added clearence. This was all done to be able to stuff 17X9" wheel under unflared fenders. I wanted the body to be left looking unaltered.
Would you happen to have any pics of your coilover setup in the rear?
I just wanna see how much the spring is tucked up under the strut.
Thanks!!!

i called Legendary Cars just now and they apparently had a fire in their warehouse and had told JC Whitney that the hood was no longer available. the guy i spoke to says they still make this hood. the molds were not damaged for z's as they originally thought. the hood goes for $375 direct from Legendary cars. this is definitely a better price than JC Whitney.. i think last time i saw it in their catalog it was $475.
Good to know, thanks for the update!!

they are 17x9, +23mm offset on z31 hubs.
Hello!!
Did you change the lug nut pattern on your z car? Also, I noticed you said they are +23 offset, do you know what the actual rear backspacing is? I am currently shopping for rims is the reason I ask. Since you have already made a working combo, its great not to do the trial and error myself.
Thanks in advance.

Taken from another topic, didn't wanna rain on anyone's BBQ by posting this on that topic.
Man that is gonna be just scary.... I think an RB might be in my future.Don't count out the L series I-6 for making power and knocking down those times.
This is my buddy Gary's 510.

-Stock Diesel Crank
-Stock studded block
-Unported N47 Head
-Stock N47 Intake
-T-76?? Turbo
-MegaSquirt EFI ECM
-Liquid to Air Intercooler
-200 fogger shot nitrous
-T-56 6-speed tranny

535HP/469TQ Runs the quarter in 10.9 seconds @ 127mph (traction limited) Still AutoX's the car on weekends. Best of both worlds.
Just goes to show how far the 'old school' motors can take you. Thought I'd share that with you guys who are wanting to stick with L-series power.

I can't offer any help on your head question' date=' but I am in desperate need of a n42 head. Maybe you can help me out and make a little extra money in the process.Let me know.

Hey guys, new member here.
Did any of you happen to catch a price on one of those hoods? Any idea how good the quaility is? I bought a hood from Unlimited Products years ago for another car and the fittment wasn't the best.

Correct, I think it was posted earlier too.
Anyway, I think he told me his intake temp drops 20* when he flips the water pump on for the intercooler.
