  1. Thanks for the clarification, John. The reason I mentioned this was because I was interested in buying a CF hood awhile back and the products that I had seen used a polyester resin. So they didn't do to well in the sun. As long as your product doesn't use this then I'm all for it. By, paint over it, I should have asked If it were possible to paint over the CF as is or would I have to remove the clear coat? Oh, and for the record I didn't make it up as you can see.
  2. Sounds great to me, Vega. My only concern about carbon fiber is that I here it turns yellow and can chip from sun damage. One thing I've always wondered is if its possible to paint over CF at all. If you could, then that might solve the yellowing problem.
  3. I've got a question. When doing this swap will you keep the stock brake cable or need to replace it with the 240Z's? just curious to know. I read somewhere that for certain swaps, you would need to do this. Do you need it here as well?
  4. Perhaps someone can enlighten me on this one. Why would you want to put a fuel cell in a Z. Is it used to create hydrogen gas for the car to run off of? I'm just curious to know that's all. edit: Sorry wrong fuel cell. For a second there I thought you were trying to convert your car into a hybrid of some sort. Thanks for the info.
  5. When it comes to aesthetics, drums just aren't as nice as rotors imo. However, I'm curious to know if switching to rotors will actually improve your stopping distance. If anything, they should be a lot easier to replace brake pads.
  6. Hey let me know how that goes for you. I just got the Z bug And I've been itching to try a new brake setup. I hear that the originals are just about the lightest ones you can go with on the Z, but if it meant more stopping power I wouldn't mind switching over. Yeah, I'd probably want to keep the e-brake too. If you wouldn't mind posting where and how much you got the brakes, I'm sure others would like that as well. Thanks
