I have the fan from a 1.9 escort, but i didnt get the radiator with it, has anyone tried any radiators that fir the z cars besides the one out of the 2.5 iron duke equiped fbodys?

no i have started a thread, Ive got my series II already, gtp block, N/A heads, fbody intakes,wireharness, oil pan, mtr mounts-im jus waitin for the shop to fabricate my mounts.

Got a seat of z31 seats identical to the ones in slownrusty's pics, for $20.

forgot to ask my power antenna is jammed, i dont plan on really using the radio so i was curious if anyone knew of where is could purchase a "Antenna Delete Plug"(http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300603847946&_trksid=p2992.m753) for our s130 cars? Ive looked eveywhere and remember they used to have em for the z32s anyone know if they are still around?

okay update, so i made a mistake. I actually dont have tails, only brakes. When i hit the brake pedal, the brake lights come on, when i put the headlights on the tails do not come on. upon further inspection i realised that i also dont have side markers or parking lights. I pulled the 2nd fuse(#15)for the tails & checked for (V) & had 11.65 @ the fuse block. Now im gonna trace the yellow/red wire, does anyone know where this wire goes? Does anyone know what the problem might be? Headlight swithc maybe? Thanks in advance

okay well i tightened the belt and the car seems to running fine. I disconnected the pos batt cable while the car was runnning and it didnt shut off, so im guessing its not the alt. Once i get the car registered,insured and inspected i guess ill put her on the road & find out. Now back to my tail light problems....

does anyone kknow how to re-attach the ttop shader fastners back to the actual ttop glass? Is there a special adhesive that nissan used?

Actually last night i noticed that my alt belt was pretty slack, ill tighten it and see if this corrects the charge problem

@ tecreatta- do you have a write up/more info on this? i'm guessing a cira 89-94 max? Is it a bolt on? @ Fricfrac-do you know what gm car this alt comes off? Is it a bolt on affair?

Well the reason i dont wanna buy a new Alt is there are a few u-pull its near me but none have any older Zeds except for the z31. I want a cheap quick solution since i plan on swapping the l28 out in a few months anyways.

I believe i have a bad alt. After fully charging the car and then driving it for awhile it evemtually dies and wont crank over. If i charge it for a day then it will run & drive again. does anyone know if there is a bolt on alt upgrade for the 280zx? how about a near bolt on, maybe a z31 part?
