  1. I thought about them, but $1,255 is a lot of money for bumpers IMO. If it was a little less ($950 or so), I'd definetely buy them. I asked them if the price is firm and they are.
  2. I need help from local 240z - 280z owners. (Dallas, Texas) Long story short, my 1976 280z was transported from LA to Dallas. During the transportation, my car was damaged. The roof is dented and scratched. The entire hatch glass is broken, several dents and scratched area. I’ve called around few local Nissan dealerships and none of them are willing to provide repair/parts estimate due to the age of the vehicle. So, where the heck can I take my car in to get an estimate?
  3. 1976 280z I ordered the full carpet kit and should be ready to install them sometime next week. The question that I have is, are there some type of board/cover over the trunk like the newer day cars? If so, what would you call that and where may I possibly go to find this part before I install the trunk carpet?
  4. Is there one brand (stock look) that has all the gauges including the clock?
  5. Have you had the chance to put together a video/audio of the exhaust?
  6. Wow! Thanks for the big help. I did search and found few things about slave and master clutch cylinders. May be the problem or not. But, when you say "problem is, you don't know how a hydraulic clutch works", you indicating I don't know how to drive a manual.
  7. I need help guys. I just took delivery of my 280z from a transporter but had to roll the car out. It wont go into any of the gears from a standing point. The clutch is fully pressed to the floor. Trying to engage into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and reverse but nothing. I was able to get it in gear after we pushed the car. What is the problem?
  8. Hey everyone The more I search and read over different wheel width and tire measurements, the more I’m confused. I have the opportunity to buy some BBS RS 16x8 by 11 offset. My 76 280z will be lowered by using Tokico HP shocks with 1†lowering springs. Is 11 too much? Should I pass this up and look for a 0 offset wheels?
  9. Thanks. I'm thinking I'm leaning more towards this option myself. Would you happen to have a interior pic of your Z?
  10. Yes, I'm looking for the motor & tranny only. I already have a restored 280z with a new paint job and new interior.
  11. Opinions.... What combo looks better in a black interior? 1 http://www.thezstore.com/store/graphics/00000001/large503117.jpg"> http://www.thezstore.com/store/graphics/00000001/large503501black.jpg"> 2 http://www.thezstore.com/store/graphics/00000001/large503153.jpg"> http://www.thezstore.com/store/graphics/00000001/large503511black.jpg">
  12. Any locals (Dallas, Texas) on here that can recommend good upholstery shop for interior work?
  13. Anyone selling a complete 280zx turbo setup (rebuild & running) with a 5sp tranny with a low mile or a V8 (LS1) for sale?
  14. I really want this but it's only designed for year model 1970 to 1974 Z's. MSA told me that the front valance on the 240z's are different from the 280z???? I searched the forum but didn't see any results..... Any 280z owners who have the MSA BRE style air dam - carbon fiber front spoiler installed?
  15. It looks a lot like what I had planned on doing. Except, I don't have the BBS wheels or the clean engine bay. Would you happen to have a video/audio of the exhaust? I like the look. I would love to hear how it sounds since I'm searching for a new exhaust.
