  1. Not sure what I'll do or ask for it yet. May just keep it. I've put a lot of elbow grease into this one.

    Mods:

    Stop tech big brake kit

    Tein flex coilovers

    Spl solid subframe bushings

Full custom handmade NASA/scca spec cage (1.75 Dom)

Sr20 swap (needs a head job)

    Sparco pro adv seat,

Paint is Aston Martin alms team brg

    and the list goes on.

I have too much $ into it to not call it a wash.

Not trying to clutter your thread sorry :)

  2. I am a Bride Dealer, you should have told me you were looking.

Car is looking great. Remember that when you are ready to sell, you are contracted to call me first ;)

Not to get your thread too off topic, but here is what I have built while you have been doing this one.

I just lost the head gasket and possibly the head, but I am thinking I will end up trading/ selling it and getting another Z. I am done racing for a while.

    Took it from this:

  3. I will inspire and make the donation, but that comes with part ownership :)

You are almost done with the core stuff, just wrap it up and enjoy it! Looks great btw! Just how I would have done it had I continued.

  4. Thanks for the info. The guy with this car wont ship it, so now I am flying out to drive it back this weekend.

Anyway, what is next? wheels? cage? ...?

I actually like the airdam black and unpainted more than the ones that match. Looks way more aggressive.

  5. Looking good. Let me be the first to congratulate you! Also please remember I am first in line for purchasing the car when/ if that day ever comes!

Quick question, who did you have ship the car? I am needing to ship a car.

  6. Hey guys I am actually over from the RBZ forum, but have recently been looking into a L28 swapped 73 Z.

I am wondering how happy everyone is with the power increase and build ability of the L28?

Any ideas on price ranges for the L28 swapped Z's around?

  7. ^yep I did about as much of the swap as I was capable of doing, and got sick of never having other available resources. Loved the car and the idea, but I got it as far as I could, and even paying money couldn't get it worked on. Basically I got bored of it and couldnt see putting more money into it to just sit. I guess that is the long and short of why I sold it.

Mack at Mckinney shipped me out the new trans mount this week. Arrived today and looks amazing when compared to the other. Car is getting wired right now, but I will go to the shop tomorrow to check for fitment. This gets me excited again.

Mark on the pan what you need changed and Ship it and I'll fix it,no charge

^I now have my mount so I will re fit things and let you know where I am at. Thanks again!

  9. 240Z's have two different tranny mounts... On the earlier 240Z's (Series 1) the tranny bolts way higher into the transmission tunnel than the later 240Z's (that were Series 2)... Until Nissan changed their design with the transmissions... I've went over this already somewhere...

I don't really know how a 69-73 mount would work in all chassis... either that or my S1 240Z was screwed up

Not sure. Either that or they told me the wrong direction for the motor mounts? haha

  10. ^Thanks Pat, let me look at it a bit more before I waste any of your time. I will let you know soon! thanks! I want to make sure this isnt another mckinney issue. You have been good to me ;)

  11. Well no time to wait on the mount. I will bring it to the shop soon. Here is my truck pulling the car to its doom! She is going to begin her wiring tomorrow. I will try to find the rest of the parts I need as I go.
