Ok well, I now know that these cannot be adapted easily so my next option would be to buy the other end of the half shaft to the wheel hub, Does anyone know which model i would be best looking at going? and also what the distance is on a 280zx from wheel hub to wheel hub? or Hub to Diff. thanks Joe

Well basically after a lot of hard work almost knocking myself out, a half broken nose and about 2 & 1/5 tonnes of pressure i have my old shafts & Diff apart which i believe is a R180, i now have the issue of my half shafts & CV's The photos are what i have My questions are 1. Could i use the full shafts as the are from the old diff assuming they fit, even though from the R200 one of the half shafts is longer than the other? 2. If i cannot use the old shafts without altering them, how the heck do i go about using the halfshafts i have the rest of the existing shaft? I have done a bit of research but have'nt come up with a great deal any help is greatly appreciated Cheers Joe
  3. i have the service manual, and i am just trying to get a price now for the new bushes, i just want to make sure i get all of them
  4. Alright this might be a stupid questions but i dont know which bushes to replace or how many and my car ihas. so if anyone could tell me how many there are and where they are (or called) that would be great Thanks P.S. i have done heaps of searching

  7. Well does anyone have any idea who sells them or anywhere i can get them, it would appear that Koni dont do them for the 280zx's. coilovers that is. Or what has everyone else done for their suspension
  8. ok lets just say it is strong enough and there is no metal left on the earth can i legaly fibre glass it up?? fibre glass sands finer than filler so its easier to manipulate
  9. hmm, what if i were to strengthen it more and just fibre glass it?? basically i want to fibreglass it because of a better finish
  10. Well just curious if anyone has done this or seen it? or if anyone knows the legalitys?? my plan is to remove all the glass and fixings, the roof has been reinforced so i was going to fibre glass it all up opinions?
  11. i plan on doing all the wiring myself because that i have no issue with but when it comes to tuning it all seems a little daunting to me, does anyone here from australia use megasquirt
  12. i have search throught alot of the mega squirt stuff but just keep ending up with a whole lot of MS terminanolgy and abbreviations, my question to you guys is that ones i buy the MSnS and all my boards and everything and then hook it up to me sensors, do i have to program in all my AFR's and Ingnition stuff myself or can i start the car with a "base tune" out of the box and drive it very carefully to my tuner and get him to do the rest or does it need some tuning first?   13. well i am half confused and half frustrated the issue i am having is that i have the turbo block, head etc, the car was previously turboed and then was removed now, the issue i have the person i got the car from is no longer around and i dont know the mechanic that was used so i have no idea if the dissy was replaced, so my question is would the turbo dissy run on a non-turbo?
