Has anyone installed and documented the install of a DakotaDigital instrument panel into their car? They offer them in pretty much any size and configuration. I've never seen an actual Dakota one installed in a Z but I've seen some other brands installed and they look stellar just can't track down the brand and I imagine they would be high on the dollhair range. Reason for wanting a digital one is bypassing the hassle of making stock tachs and speedo's work with a JZ engine. Wiring scares me. I'm thinking about starting a project in restoring a 1982 280zx. It's selling for 2650 and the engine sounds fine. the interior is all kinds of f*cked up though. the gauges/instruments are mostly not working, one t-top window is cracked, there is rusted out areas near the back wheels, cracked dash, and 50% of the interior plastic is chipped, broken, or missing. Performance wise the transmissions feels solid and the engine sounds great for a 160k mile car, however, the AC/Heater isn't working. I've been scouring the web for a couple of days trying to get a restoration estimate. Help me experienced masters of z-car restoration, you're my only hope.

Hi Everyone, Long time reader first time poster. I have been looking rather exhaustively in my home country (Australia) for an original condition dash harness including lower console harness, radio harness and hazard light harness & switch to suit my 1975 260Z (280Z for you guys). Here is a photo of the harnesses that I'm after: From what I can find online any LHD 280Z harness should be suitable for my needs but my preference would be for harnesses out of a 1975 280Z if possible for continuity sake. I can pay in cash or I have a spare pair of 260/280Z "Euro" tail lights in good condition (with wiring) I could trade as a part exchange. Parts for these cars are becoming extremely hard to come by over here so any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm pretty desperate! Thanks, Alex
