milesz
What AFPR are you guys are using? I have the 5.3 with LS6 intake, LS1 gas tank, Walbro 255 fuel pump, corvette fuel filter/regulator and I making to much fuel pressure. When I turn the ing on its at 60psi and when I crank it goes to 85psi. I keep blowing the fuel pump hose. Again, I could use some advice. PalmettoZ
Hello Miles- Most fuel injectors are set at a max of 45 psi, and less at idle if you have a FPR on your fuel rail that is vacume operated. Does your rail have an FPR on it with a vacume line going to the manifold somewhere? Also do you have your system set up with a return line, and not dead headed at the rail? This is critical. Also ensure that your fuel lines are the higher pressure fuel injection lines and not the standard fuel lines which are made for a lower pressure for carbs. You can also purchase an inexpensive FPR from Summit which can regulate the pressure down to 45 psi. Summit part number is BCH-0280160001, and it is a standard Bosch FPR for a lot of different applications. I put this in my car right after where the stock fuel filter is on the inner fender well. It is adjustable as well- Good luck- Scott

I am using the Corvette fuel filter with regulator and it has a return on it. So, to answer your question, yes I have a return line. Most of my lines are hard lines and the rubber lines are fuel injectors lines.
RB30X
LS1 injectors are supposed to run at 60psi but if you're blowing hoses at 80psi then there is a weak point there (hose wise) that I would be fixing. I would take a punt here and say you've got a vacuum hose hooked up to the reg when you shouldnt have. NA LS1's run a constant fuel pressure where as other models run variable. Most regs have a vacuum port to hook your manifold pressure up to but in your case you dont need it.
