lester
Finally getting to the body work on my z. In hopes of getting it into flat black primer by the end of the summer. Started some disassembly today and had a question about the body kit i have for my z. My z is a 78 btw. For the msa type 2 body kit do i need to remove the bumper brackets, or will the kit fit over them? I already have the whole front tore apart, but have read on here how big of a job it is to take off the rear brackets. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! I'm doing the front air dam on my 280Z and can't find any install pictures or instructions on how to install this properly.

Six_Shooter
The front air dam bolts to the bottom of the headlight buckets, in place of the original valence. If you have a new kit, you will likely need to drill holes.

DrJ
I'm installing mine tomorrow, I'll post some pics, it looks like it fits decently but will need a little finessing. Edited August 20, 2012 by DrJ
