Hi guys, im looking for a 3" stainless steel exhaust system for my 1978 280z turbo 2+2. I looked all over the net I guess they don't make them anymore, a friend bought a bolt on 3" stainless steel exhaust from tom motorsport years ago for his datsun it was mint. Not sure why they not around. Let me know thanks for the help. :)

You're going to have to have someone make it for you...very few places offer anything like this anymore. McKinney does have a 3" system, but isn't stainless & comes with a ricer carbon fiber muffler...& costs $550+shipping

I'd just find a local place that does diesel trucks & have them make you a system. Those places are used to making large diameter exhausts without crappy compression bends that most muffler shops want to use.

I have a 3" pipe that is connected to an Apexi muffler that has a large split down the seam. I bought it awile ago from a member here or from another car forum,(long time ago, can't remember which)who had it on his 240z.

It is not a true mandrel bent setup though as the bends neck down slightly, and it is aluminized steel instead of stainless. Don't know if that would be of any interest to you or not, just throwing it out there. As time has creeped on wth my build, I have decided to eventually have a stainless, mandrel bent piping made.
