inascent
I am looking at ebay item # 200631596549. It is a 1977 280z. Can someone let me know what they think of picture #22- it looks to me like the chassis/swing arm has been modified. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/200631596549?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmotors.shop.ebay.com%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D200631596549%26_sacat%3D%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 Thanks! johnc
Everything look s stock except for the plate covering the RR LCA mounting point. Don't know why that's there.
Tibby
My 78' had this plate also. Looks to be stock. Edited July 22, 2011 by Tibby
Tony D
That plate is a crash-test fittment. Rear-end collapsing the tank into lower control arm will put the fuel suction line close to that point where it can be torn, as well as spreading out the sharp edge to keep it from tearing the tank. The exhaust effectively performs this function on the other side. That is a stock piece. No, it's not stock, he has the world's cheapest excuse for a muffler on the back of the car...
