Empire Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 I've got a complete L24 and L28. A friend has a an E31 head for me at a good price. Is it worth swapping it on? I'll be using tripple webbers, header and twicepipes, and hopefully a mild Crane cam I found (if the machine shop can clean it up enough). Stock for stock you might get more usable power out of an N42 head because it has lower compression. If you're getting it for cheap you could always resell it for a profit though. Mack Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 Sell the E31 to a vintage racer and find yourself a maxima N47. anything made from 81 to 84 will work.
