midnightcarving Posted August 27, 2011 Share Posted August 27, 2011 I know the l28 cuts power to the injector from 3200 up if you're in gear. the other thing i've noticed is that i have a high idle when the car is moving... it hovers around 1400 until i come to almost a complete stop.... what controls these two things and how do i disable it!? cygnusx1 Posted August 27, 2011 Share Posted August 27, 2011 High Idle, search for BCDD. It can be tweaked. Fuel cut on decel, is built into the electronics of the ECU. It can have a lobotomy if you are good with electronics. Look for a thread on here about the factory fuel injection, started by BRAAP I think. It only operates on decel, and without it your fuel mileage will be cut to about 65-75% of what it currently is, along with pumping out so much hydrocarbon residue you could light the exhaust and support a flame...
