calvin280zxt
82 turbo 170xxx kms, ball joints tie rods seem to be ok. yet it will kind off pull one way then the other way then go straight etc. wondering if anyone else has had something similar. also, how long do other turbo auto cars take to build oil pressure? mine was an auto so it has the oil cooler etc
darkstarrocker
Old tires can cause tramlining
dexter72
Check the steering rack and mounts with the front wheels off the ground. Tires. Check the wheel bearings also if you haven't done so.
calvin280zxt
tires are pretty old and wheel bearings never thought of that. the tires do have some feathering going on but it might just be because the p.o. had the tires overinflated and now at normal psi its wearing the edges
zx_drift
Any loose front end parts will cause a wandering like you're describing. Check out your bushings, mainly the tension rod bushings as they can cause the caster to change if they are worn out.
calvin280zxt
my car is under construction so ill add poly bushings and ball joints to my list
zx_drift
I would recommend not putting poly bushings on the tension rods if you are lowering the car. I snapped about 3 of them... You can use one poly and one rubber or you can get some tension rods from Techno Toy Tuning.

FricFrac
The TTT ones are only $200 for the whole setup with hemi's and all. You'll never snap those guys - they are beefy! Just remember not to put the urethane bushings in your TC rod mounts....
