CaptainJoe87 Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Hey guys I have tried searching but with no luck. Im wondering if anyone can help identify the cam that is in this motor. The only markings I see are a "D" and "JAPAN" I will try to get a couple of pictures loaded up here if that would help. The cam is in a 76 L28. A friend said that since it had some paint markings on it that it was possibly not stock. Any help is appreciated, I have someone interested in buying the motor and need this info so I can decide on a price. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Most cam markings are under the timing sprocket, which you'll have to remove to see. For what it's worth, I have had stock cams with some paint marks on them before. I did one more search and somehow it turned it up that time. I have had that problem a few times before with some things. I guess an admin can get rid of this thread if they want to.
