dangerboy
Havent read my JTR manual in some time but i'm fairly certain no cutting was involved. Changing to the JTR mounts will be more involved and costly as you will probably have to change certain things. (no more mechanical fuel pump, shorten the driveshaft, buy the mounts/kit) At the end of the day though there is no better time to do that then while the motor is already out and having the motor behind the front wheels will improve how the car handles. surpip
Im not shure how the kit you have now mounts the tranny but you will need to get rid of the stock mounts in the tranny tunnel. I have the T-56 in mine i witch should have the same shifter location as the T5 and it fits great. I belive the JTR kit was made for the T5 in the first place, along with all that dangerboy said but you would have to get a new driveshaft to swap out the 4 speed anyways. GOTHALOSISM
The T5 sits in there perfectly once you remove the "tabs" for the tranny mount.
