mattausten23
I was looking at the TTT camber plates and was thinking they look like a simple design. I was wondering if anyone has fabbed their own camber plates for their Z? I know it sounds crazy but I was thinking it might save me a couple of bucks! BluDestiny
If you have a hookup at a machine shop, if you can make it yourself, or if you make a bulk order and sell the rest off is probably the only way you'd be getting them cheaper in my opinion. Go to a machine shop and ask around though. If you really think about $90 for one machined piece of metal and the pillow ball already setup is a pretty cheap price. It cost me $100 per top hat to have a custom rear set made for my 280zx to use s13 coilovers.
ComicArtist
Yeah, what you don't really realize is that the separate sliding pillowball mount is much harder to fab than the slotted plate on top. Ends up being cheaper to drop $180 on the set.

I thought it was $50 for the pillowball mount, so I was just going to buy those and make the plates, but the $50 item is for the upper hat systems. My fault! Definitely going to get these. Thanks guys.
