75 z tail lights markers dont work

So I jus bought another z,(75 280) when I turn on the headlights only the headlights come on no tailights marker or dash lights, however brake lights an blinkers do work tho I've replaced the healight switch check fuses an now iam stumped anyone had this problem before iam new to this forum so iam hoping u guys will b half way nice an lendI some help thank you

I belive tail/marker/dash lights all run from the same source off the switch, dont remember the wire coulor off the top of my head but run a test lamp to various wires off the headlight swich and make shure you are getting power out of the switch. Not shure how much you work on cars but a power probe will pay for itself if you use it more than once and for anyone with older cars it is an awsome tool

May be that your combination switch either has a broken wire or dirty contacts. It is easy to repair. You will need a schematic and a volt meter to check out if it is getting power etc. You can repair it or replace it, but you might as well learn how to do both since this is a common problem.
