JessZ
Alright Wiki D. I like the idea of installing the MS into my na ecu, clean up the wiring after install, change the valve cover, get it tuned well, look around for younger a green sniffer to do the check, maybe cross my fingers and I will probably be okay.I 'know'a guy too. He helped me out with my Camaro years ago. What about pulling the catalytic converter? Is this a visual check that could/will fail me if I can't find 'my' guy? I need to find that link you mentioned. JessZ
Mabe a cleaned up non-egr? It kind of exposes the turbo, but eliminates any smog control suspecion-or I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Maybe that would be too much of a tip off. Anyway, they look nice. ctc
Keep the egr, won't pass visual without it. It can also allow more timimg without detoniton. Randomly pulling of emissions equipment will hurt horsepower sometimes on these engines. You want clean and efficent combustion. Also, keep the cat. Go high flow if yours is dead. You do realize a Chevy ZR1 engine makes a ton of hp for a "smog" motor! Same principles apply. Smog does not equal less horsepower or bad. Get over that.
