Sick280zx Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 So I got my 280zx back running with dual webers now the noise is a consistent rubbing sound that doesnt change with engine speed so its no a belt but its stumping my dad and I. BrandenZ Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Try the broom-stick trick -- hold one end to your ear and the other to various parts of the carbs / motor, see where the noise increases vs where you can't hear it at all. I just recently had a weird vibration after re-installing my exhaust and dual webers, during out to be the heat shield rubbing on one of the primaries, bent it back a touch and now it's gone!
