brianZortiz
Gas prices are ridiculous and they are going to continue to rise. I have plans for engine builds and WOT fun, but with these prices I can only keep that adrenaline pumping to a minimum. The question is will there be an alternative fuel source to gasoline? I know there are hybrids, electric motors and others, but will there be one where we can still run a regular combustion engine with in the near future? Gas is expected to run out in 40 years or less. Do you guys think there will be a new formula of gas that we won't have to switch engines or be forced into buying new vehicles?
Six_Shooter
Uhh, it's already around, called Ethanol, but it takes a lot of resources to produce. While I absolutely love the sound of an internal combustion engine and turbos, I will be building an electric vehicle soon enough, I have the chassis, just need to find the parts cheap enough.
